The knowledge gained in traditional classrooms, through online lectures, through search engines, online video books, and Wikipedia is just helping to understand the theoretical concepts. These information sources cannot develop abilities to apply the theoretical concept to real-world problems. This can be developed through experiential learning in workshops, industrial visits, field visits, etc. The advanced courses are not having this scope due to limited lab capacities, high instrument costs, a variety of instruments, quick revisions in technology, less number of industries, IP securities, and many more reasons. The Automobile sector is a vibrant one and the Automobile Engineering department is always facing these issues. This study presents the teaching-learning experience of the course Automotive Control Engineering which faces the above issues. The study was conducted for T.Y.B.Tech Automobile Enginee...

Simulations offer learners the opportunity to engage with complex phenomena and manipulate them, making them particularly valuable in these contexts. In line with this notion, our study adopted a teaching strategy centered on simulations. This approach was implemented in two separate classes of first-year Bachelor of Technology (F. Y. B. Tech) students, specifically for the Engineering Physics course. In one of these classes, simulations were solely utilized without incorporating any formative assessment, while the other class was exposed to a strategy that combined simulations with formative assessment. Our observations revealed that solely using simulations during instruction did not contribute significantly to conceptual understanding. However, when simulations were integrated with formative assessment, a substantial improvement in understanding was noted. Through our data analysis, a noteworthy discrepancy in average scores between the two classes became apparent. Notably, the class that experienced the simulation-based formative assessment strategy demonstrated a higher average score of 63.85.

The racism can be defined as a prejudice based on the race, color, ancestry, ethnicity, religion or national religion. The geneologic of racism in America can be traced to the decade of 1950s & has been recognized and named as problematic phenomenon. Along with power politics, the racist exclusions are done to control the socioeconomic power. The racist expressions are expressions which are expressed by those who wielded power and powerless become victim of it.This paper aims at studying Meena Alexander,s poetry to focus her racialized experience. Meena Alexander, as a postcolonial immigrant writer had to face the threats of racial & color discrimination, the sense of being other, the body marked by its color in America. The hegemonic white 'self' hesitated to recognize the other body pushes it in invisibility, anonymity, against which the poet had to struggle to define herself visibly to the w...
