The Dave: Our thoughts are with you. Dave Barker, known to most of us as "The Dave" or DJ Silikon was involved in a serious car accident in Rolla and airlifted to the nearest major hospital, Springfield, MO. He's in critical condition: whether he's expected to make it through the night is still up in the air.He was riding his bike to campus today and got hit by a semi. He was airlifted to a hospital in springfield. He lost his spleen and five pints of blood. He has several fractured vertebre and a broken leg. He has no head injuries. He has regained consciousness and was doing sign language with his parents. He is in critical condition. They are waiting until he is in better shape before they can set his bones. Several friends from St. Louis ((Raver)Dan, J, Dr. Kandee) are going as well. Ok, so tonight may end up w/ Rivalz being postponed, or not happening. Or at least for me DO NOT let it fall apart just cuz I'm not there! Organize transport! Tonight is the Black Eyed Peas show @ 8pm downtown @ Fair St. Louis, and then afterwards the The Vacation show @ the City Museum @ 10pm. That my plans. It was suggested to me that I "Bring Friends!" to the Vacation show...who wants to go? CALL ME! I'll be going straight from teh BEP to the Vacation, so no random picking up afterwardness.
