The hypotheses and prediction model in this study are tested using correlation and multiple regression analysis based on data collected from 44 logistics firms in Shah Alam, Selangor. The findings show that IT implemented in tracking, safety and security, customer service, and IT integration have a significant positive impact on firm performance. The largest contributor among the three variables is IT integration, followed by customer service, and the smallest contributor is tracking, security, and safety. This research will assist logistics players in achieving superior performance in terms of efficiency and effectiveness. As such, it is useful for strategic IT investment planning and decision making, as well as developing systematic approaches to IT implementation in the logistics industry.
