R package for "Essential" Robust Statistics: Tools for data analysis with robust methods; incl. regression & multivariate stats; targeting to cover "Robust Statistics, Theory and Methods" by Maronna, Martin and Yohai; 2006.

One important aspect of this package: Though it is maintained by Martin Maechler, the idea is that the whole "robustnik" community contributes to itand builds its own R packages with a 'Depends: robustbase'entry, i.e., reusing all the example datasets and basic robustness functions procedures from robustbase.
