[ mood \| cranky ] I've just recently started getting obsessive about minesweeper and I noticed something bizarre about my best times. I swear I got 9 seconds beginner and 40-something seconds intermediate, but the other day it suddenly told me I had a new record at 10 and 60 respectively, and overwrote onto my best times list that they were my best times. I have no idea why? Has anybody else had this?

i was playing beginner and i got a really nice one and i could have won in only 1 second but my brain froze. i realize you cant play when your to drunk.. but i got 18 on intermediate! and then i made a gif about how it feels to play minesweeper: LE GIF

A big goal of mine, getting under a minute without flags. Now I can pretty much "retire" (although I was already pretty much retired anyway) from minesweeper (though a sub-50 flagging would be nice too).Got it one hour into being 22 years of age too! Lovely birthday present to myself!

My scores aren't that great compared to most, but everyone I know that watches me play is impressed. =D 3-27-92I'd like to get my Expert time down, but I find that I waste a lot of time clicking places where I didn't intend to click. Any tips on increasing the accuracy of my clicking?

Just beat a record on minesweeper I'd had since January and had equalled 3 more times: 64 on expert NF now becomes 62 on expert NF! I want to go under a minute, so this is a step on the way.... my normal record is 52. And I thought I was in bad form!

I got lucky for the second time in my life three days ago - caffeine could really be considered a performance-enhancing drug in the world of Minesweeping, haha. I haven't played beginner since I got a 1 two years ago, but I started playing it and on one of my first games, I got a 1. Talk about crazy luck.

I thought I was all bad-ass with my 4 second score for the beginner level until I looked at this community about a month back. But now I feel bad-ass (or just lucky) againMy intermediate score is 40 seconds and I haven't done expert in awhile, so who knows.

my minesweeper goal for this summer was to get my expert score under 100 seconds, and my previous best score from a couple weeks ago was 105. i successfully got to 96 seconds today -- four days before my summer is to end. hooray! :)

Hi thereHas anyone noticed that the game's behavior changed to the worse in Win XP comparing with Win NT 4 ?It drives me nuts.My best times were 3, 16, 59 on NT4Now on XP I did 2 sec in Beginner, 18 in Intermediate but I can't get even close to my Expert results ! Also, I'm getting tired of the game and my hand is not that quick and precise as it used to be... I play it for years, actually since the very first version. I'm wondering if playing long enough could derange the hand functionality ? not mentioning the mental health :)

I feel like an idiot after reading everyone else's times :] 7s, 49s, 200s I think.... but I'll be as good as the rest of you someday. meanwhile, I'll just school my friends.
