FRIENDS ONLY, v.21

My entries are personal a lot of the time, so unless I know you well in real life or well through the fandom, I don't see why you need to view my entries! However, there will be some entries that I'll make public.
If you'd like to be a friend of mine, comment please! Tell me who you are and why you think we'd be good friends. You can look at my interests page to see the things I like. If you friend me without commenting, I won't friend you back so you won't be able to read my entries anyway.
That being said, I really don't have any qualifications as to who gets to be my friend & who doesn't. As long as we have some things in common, you're good to go. Just a note, though - I really can't stand it when people type lIkE tHiS andthey tHink its s0 gr8.
Commenting
I'm not the world's greatest when it comes to commenting on my friend's LJs. I read the entries of my flist, but sometimes I just have nothing to say. And sometimes (because my flist is so darn big) I might just not see an entry you make at all. If there's ever any time when you make a post you really want me to comment on, link me to it & by gum, I will. :)
I can also understand if you don't comment on my journal often. As long as you comment every once in awhile, it's all good. I've only had to delete a couple of people for not commenting (and these people were those who NEVER EVER commented on my LJ).

GUH.
1. School is finally over. I finally handed in my last assignment (a 12-page research paper) last night. I've gotten my grades back for all my classes except one, and things are kind of okay. So far, I've gotten:
B+ in Fundamentals of Speech Communication
A in History of Electronic Media
C in Applied Grammar (I blame my absences for this grade)
B- in Educational Psychology
A in Writing Fiction
Still waiting for Literary Research & Applied Criticism
Now, I just have to get through all my summer classes, which start on Tuesday.
Oh, and I guess I'm officially a college senior now. Which is weird. I started this LJ when I was a freshman in high school and now I'm a senior in college. How the time flies.
2. I'm all moved into my new apartment. What a freaking hassle that was, let me tell you. I'm exhausted even thinking about it.
3. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles was canceled. I AM PISSED. I don't understand how they cancel this show but renew Dollhouse. My mind is blown. And now, my no TV policy goes into effect. I'm probably only going to keep watching the shows I already watch. And nothing on FOX. Unbelievable. UnFREAKINGbelievable.
LET ME SHOW YOU THE SHOW'S BRILLIANCE. Look at my pretty Season 1 Picspam.
I'll probably be crying throughout Terminator: Salvation when I go see it tomorrow.
Right now, tho? I'm having a Lost marathon, starting from Season 1. Because the season 5 finale was epic in its awesomeness, and I have to wait nine freaking months until season 6.

Two finals down. Two more finals and two papers to go. ♥
Madeline and I signed the lease for our apartment yesterday. YAY.
The Lost season finale was so amazing, I don't even know where to begin to start talking about it. So I won't. Not right now anyway.
I've been meaning to post this video for awhile now, but never really got around to it. It's mainly about how awesome Cameron is. You can click on the graphic or the cut to view it. ♥

End of Hiatus!

Okay, I'm ending my hiatus early. Mainly because school is awesome and everything is ending.

Things I Have to Do
1. History of Electronic Media - took the final today. Officially done with the class. I think I got an A.
2. Applied Grammar - all I have to do is one assignment and take the final, which is in 3 days. I had a meeting with the teacher and she said that I currently have the highest test/quiz scores in the class, which is in the A-range.
3. Fundamentals of Speech Communication - all I have to do is take the final, which is in 7 days. I've given all of my speeches, so tomorrow all I have to do is hear other people give their speeches. I'm actually absurdly of all the speeches I've given this semester, so there's that. For the record, these have been my topics: Pizza [Short Informative Speech]; Bipolar Disorder [Long Informative Speech]; Upcoming Smoking Ban on Campus (and why it won't be successful) [Persuasive Speech]; and River Phoenix [Commemorative Speech]!
4. Educational Psychology - take the final in 8 days.
5. Literary Research and Applied Criticism - finish my 12-page research paper, which is due in 8 days.
6. Writing Fiction - edit my first short story & submit a two page idea for a new story.
So, really, it's not that much.
Other Happenings & Going Ons
1. I found out that the Towson Run Apartments aren't open during the summer break, so my friend Madeline and I are going to be sharing an apartment that's literally right up the street. We'll be able to move in on the 17th. I went to go see it last week and it's perfect. I had to fill out all sorts of paperwork and stuff. Made me feel ~adult~.
2. Today is the day that Gunther leaves for Arizona. I went down to MICA on Friday to see him, and the three of us had a pretty good time. Justin threw a party and had a keg and everything, so all was good.

Very Random John/Cameron Picspam

So, this isn't really the best picspam ever done. I've only just started messing around with coloring and stuff, so I think most of these look really bad. Trying to make all the caps have the same coloring just did not work well at all. But, ah. This was mostly experimentation more than anything. Most of the scenes I chose aren't even my favorite scenes, but just caps I had to work with. I was thinking about doing quotes, but I'll leave that for the much better John/Cameron picspam I'm planning on doing in the future. Next up should be a picspam for the overall series. :)

So, I went to go see 17 Again. It was such a cute, funny movie. I loved it. I mean, it was one of those predictable, cheesy films, but it was so hilarious I didn't notice or care. Zac Efron was great. :D He totally won me over at the beginning of the movie when ( Very mild spoilersCollapse )
I can't wait until this summer for more movies. Right now, there's four movies that I'm dying to see: Terminator: Salvation, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, 500 Days of Summer, and Public Enemies. SO EXCITED.
ION, I haven't been sleeping very well lately. I don't know why, but even though I'm exhausted, I just can't fall asleep. My mind is either moving at warp speed, or it's completely blank, but either way I still can't sleep. A couple nights ago, I just gave up on trying to sleep, and have been working on videos and picspams instead. I'm such a dork.
But it brings me to my poll.
