We called Gateway this morning about my computer, after 45 minutes on hold I was given a 499pricequoteforanewscreen,plustheywouldhaveitfor"about2weeks"(aka3weeks).Ugh!Thatisrightonthecuspof"youmightaswellgetanewcomputer"andnotadecisionwewerelookingforwardtomaking.IhadbeentotheGeekSquadonSundayandwastoldabout499 price quote for a new screen, plus they would have it for "about 2 weeks" (aka 3 weeks). Ugh! That is right on the cusp of "you might as well get a new computer" and not a decision we were looking forward to making. I had been to the Geek Squad on Sunday and was told about 499pricequoteforanewscreen,plustheywouldhaveitfor"about2weeks"(aka3weeks).Ugh!Thatisrightonthecuspof"youmightaswellgetanewcomputer"andnotadecisionwewerelookingforwardtomaking.IhadbeentotheGeekSquadonSundayandwastoldabout500. So our next sop was the Fix My PC store near us. I walked into the store and the guy said, "I may have a used one for 150,letmegolook."Nowthatwouldhavebeenawesome!!!Butnohedidn′thaveone,sohesaidhecouldorderonefor150, let me go look." Now that would have been awesome!!! But no he didn't have one, so he said he could order one for 150,letmegolook."Nowthatwouldhavebeenawesome!!!Butnohedidn′thaveone,sohesaidhecouldorderonefor250 + $35 for the install. SOLD!!!! Plus I will only be without my laptop for a few hours!! Woot!!!! Expensive, yes, but not nearly as bad as it was looking yesterday!!!!

It's funny, the kids won't let N out of their sight. :) If he goes to the bathroom or anything the kids are asking where he went or waiting outside the door! :) We gave K the option of staying home from school today and she said she wanted to go but on the condition that Daddy took her and she could show him everything in her classroom! :) Too cute! :)
