This disruption demands an immediate adjustment of all personnel relating to the education sector to be prepared and flexible. This study aimed to examine reflections on English-language online learning and teaching experiences among students, teachers, and experts in the field of technology education. The mixed-methods approach was used. The population was approximately 3,000 firstyear undergraduates enrolled in the English for Communication 1 course at a public university in the central region of Thailand. They were used to answer the questionnaire. The purposive sampling technique was used to select participants for a semi-structured interview. They were forty-one students, thirteen English teachers, and five experts. The 5-Likert scale Foreign Language Virtual Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLVCAS) questionnaire and semi-structured interviews were used as research instruments. The quantitative data was analyzed using percentages, mean, and standard deviations, while the semi-structured interview transcripts were analyzed using content analysis. The findings revealed that the loss of Internet signal, learning engagement, and lack of understanding of the nature of online learning presented major concerns for students and teachers. Experts suggested that incorporating a diverse range of learning techniques into a suitable pedagogical approach, including creating a supportive learning environment, assessing learners' needs, and embedding meaningful learning objectives, was crucial to optimizing students' learning outcomes.

The one-group pretest-posttest research design was used. The population was 20 third-year undergraduates enrolling in the hospitality program at a university in the central part of Thailand. The convenience sampling technique was used to select the participants. They included 15 students, with the majority at the A1 CEFR level of English proficiency. The instruments used for this study included pre-, post-, and delayed post-English achievement tests to examine their English proficiency. The questionnaire and focus-group interviews were also used as research instruments to elicit their motivation toward learning English. The results showed that the students were able to retain vocabulary, but they did not demonstrate grammatical retention after the intervention. However, there was a significant increase in motivation in English learning. They were more confident in their language skills, and the active learning activities integrated with the ClassPoint application could inspire them to further develop their language proficiency for their personal interests and future careers.

A total of 233 participants took part in the research: 70 from the hotel industry, 72 from the tourism industry, and 91 from the aviation industry. They were recruited using purposive sampling technique, and a mixed-methods research design was employed. To collect data, a Likert-scale questionnaire relating to English communicative competency in hospitality was used. Semistructured interviews were then piloted and used. A backtranslation technique was employed to ensure the accuracy of the translation from English to Thai. The value of the alpha coefficient's reliability for the questionnaire was 0.85. The quantitative data was analyzed using percentages, means, and standard deviations, while the semi-structured interview transcripts were analyzed using content analysis. The findings revealed that the most significant communicative competencies in the hospitality industry, in order of importance, are interactional competency, strategic competency, and socio-cultural competency. The problems associated with using English in the hospitality industry included cultural differences and technical vocabulary. Moreover, awareness of the power of non-verbal language is perceived as being equally important for communicative competency.

In response to this out-of-control circumstance, Howard Gardner's multiple intelligences (MI) theory proposes a new style of teaching that accounts for individual differences. This study seeks to investigate 1) the effects of MI-based instruction on English achievement and 2) the extent to which MI-based instruction fosters learner autonomy (LA). A quasi-experimental design was used to assess students' language achievement, while mixed-method research was used to assess students' LA. This study included 123 engineering faculty members from a university in the central region of Thailand. The English achievement test was used to assess their general English proficiency, while the adapted questionnaire from Murase's (2015) Measuring Instruments of Language Learner Autonomy (MILLA), the semi-structured interviews, and the teacher's log were used to assess their LA. The results showed that the experimental group improved their listening, speaking, reading, writing, and grammar skills, while their writing skills did not differ from the control group. There was no significant difference in the students’ level of LA after the MI-based instruction.

This study aimed to investigate the types of English-speaking errors made by Thai undergraduate students when speaking English and identify the sources of such errors. The population included 133 Thai sophomore students who enrolled in the Presentation in English course in the first semester of the academic year 2021. Twenty-four participants were selected by a purposive sampling method. The data was collected using a speech error identification form adapted from Clark & Clark's concept, which was validated by three experts in English learning and identified the sources of errors according to Dulay, Burt, & Krashen. Frequency and percentage distribution statistics were used to analyze the data. Inter-raters validated the errors consisting of two native English speakers and one Thai teacher. The results revealed that the most frequently found speech errors were filled pauses, stutters, and repeats, respectively. The misformation was the most frequently found, followed by the omission of "be" and the addition of "be" in the sentences as grammatical errors. Each type of error results from one of the three sources of errors, which are cognitive, psychological, and sociological reasons. The pedagogical implications from this study could be applied in designing teaching and learning processes to develop students' speaking skills.

learning and teaching. The purpose of this article was to
conduct an analysis of the implementation of Multiple
Intelligences (MI) theory in the field of English language
teaching. MI theory, as introduced by Howard Gardner (1983),
offers a new concept of intelligence, one that has led to a
profound questioning of what we call "intelligence.". As a result, he proposed an alternative view of intelligence that can
be incorporated into the range of abilities, as well as the
existence of nine intelligences that are distinct from one
another. Several studies have explored the incorporation of MI
theory in the realm of language teaching since it provides
instructors with a variety of teaching strategies and enhances
their ability to design teaching methods to better meet learners’
expectations. Moreover, it recommends multiple testing
methods based on all the proposed intelligences to evaluate
students’ learning, as not all intelligences can be measured
using standardized tests. To implement the theory into
pedagogical practice, educators should be cautious when it
comes to truly understanding the theory and also be prepared
to create a variety of teaching techniques in order to engage all
intelligences.

It broadens the abilities of language learners to establish effective communication, foster deeper comprehension, and plays a fundamental role in language proficiency level assessment. However, learners possess difficulty managing their vocabulary as it continues to expand as their language exposure increases, especially for beginners and second language learners. This article aims to provide concepts for those who are interested in acquiring vocabulary in a second language and seeking where to begin. It suggests the number of words learners should learn, the rationale, and resources to obtain vocabulary. It discusses the general concept of vocabulary acquisition, the role of memory in learning vocabulary, and certain useful vocabulary learning strategies for learners that facilitate their vocabulary acquisition.
