The signs of ARG are designated and given as elements of the reference game model, the basis for comparison. The authors found that the QAnon conspiracy theory, the history of its emergence and development features is of a synthetic nature: ARG elements are present in modified form. They transform the roles of developers and participants. The QAnon quest structure was visualized, the gameplay based on experiencing the state of apophenia - a painful search for a connection between random phenomena or events - was described. The similarities of QAnon with religion and at the same time political ideology based on the mechanics of the game were identified, which explains its popularity. The same goes for the news. People are shifting from traditional mass media to digital news platforms and getting news through websites, news portals, social media, etc. If you are dependent on the Internet for every kind of information, then you will face false information on the Internet. False or fake news is defined as any information that does not have any credible and reliable source behind it or any misleading information that is likely to mislead the public. The aim behind fake news transmission is to damage a person's or entity's reputation or advertising revenue. If you want not to fall into the fake news you should know about fake news detection and media literacy.

The overall goal is committing suicide, on the 50th day. It is assumed that by May of 2016 the game has been a reason of more than 130 juveniles' suicides in Russia. While the allegation on 130 deaths caused by game originally mentioned in the " Novaya Gazeta " was not confirmed officially, the prototypes of the game apparently existed on VK before. They included interactive quests, ARGs, the games with augmented reality based on the myth of Deep Web and its map created within the Russian net-stalking communities. The myth describes the abysmal cyber world filled with "creepy" contents also known as deathly files. By early 2017 the rumors about the Blue Whale suicide game moved beyond the national social networks and Russian-language imageboard websites and induced a commotion in the national press and reached the media of some neighboring states in the former USSR and even farther. During transition from the social media to the Russian mainstream media and further to the foreign media the story about the Deep Web and its storyworld were substantially transformed into the story of the Blue Whale contest. The aim of this paper is to identify the peculiarities of an elaboration of an ARG's storyworld during transition from social media to mainstream media. For this purpose, we focused on an analysis how the storyworld and narrative were affected through the transition from Deep Web myth to the Blue Whale contest narration and the mainstream media interferences from chronological perspective.

The article synthesizes theoretical knowledge collected abroad. Media fandoms are understood as interpretive, participatory communities that are able to influence media production. Fanfiction is shown as one of the forms of expression of criticism and various potential interpretations and meanings of the original work. The Russian scientific community also refers to fan communities as interpretive communities. Fanfiction is defined as a literary work that performs the function of demonstrating a variety of individual readers interpretations of the work. It was revealed that despite the existence of some differences in approaches to the study of fan creativity, there is a common focus on the activity of the audience. More attention is given to the study of collective meaning-making and ways of expressing different interpretations of the original media product.

The discussion is caused by a number of factors. First of all, in the digital world, media education (both professional and non-professional) starts integrating into the training process of the professionals of a new formation. Having a new approach is crucial for going into the future, with tough competition and massive use of innovative technologies. Secondly, national education system is now at the stage of a large-scale reconstruction: the goal of the reform is to speed up learning process. Thirdly, the concepts of professional and non-professional education are being revised, taking into account the growing demand for media education and the use of mass media communications, whereas the criteria of the learning approach in these areas differ. This determines the pursuit for improvement in teaching methods and emergence of new learning formats such as game form. The article systemizes pedagogical functions when adapting the method of projects in higher education, introduces the description of the basic scenario and the variational components of the educational project "Dossier on the hero" for journalist students, and proves its feasibility for training specialists in a digital (media-oriented) economy. It also presents comparative data on a number of projects implemented within the framework of bachelor programs "Journalism", "Advertising and Public Relations" and the Master's program "Organization of Information Production" (RUDN–University).

The authors (International Research Group KVAR) describe the results of a quantitative and qualitative analysis of transcripts of twenty-seven episodes of the “Vesti Nedeli” television program (Rossiya 1, 2018) depicting the mysterious poisoning of Sergei and Yulia Skripal. The aim of this study is to find out in what way the journalists of “Vesti Nedeli” narrate and interpret the events in Salisbury. Based on C. Booker‘ classification, the authors explore the specific traits of the story plot about the Skripals case. The analysis leads to the conclusion that it is not the Skripals who are at the center of the narration but the United Kingdom and its attitude to Russia. The study identifies the narrative force drivers and the main actors and their subject-object roles: this is one of seven basic plots.

For citizens of the Russian Federation, TV is a main source of information about events. Whereas for sociologists and philologists federal channels are unique basic institutions that provide: reproduction of socially significant patterns of citizen’s thoughts and behavior; integration of society on the basis of common values. TV Shows on central channels are constantly reaching the top of media credibility rating: 3/4 of Russians (75%) trust them. They help to create circulation of meanings TV proposes the values, audience reproduces and modifies them. Thus, we have chosen a Russian TV show “Pust’ Govoryat”(Let Them Talk) that presents all the things “that interest everyone” by» exploring intimate issues of a particular person, a family”. Authors of this work seek to find out what “interests everyone”...

It was among the most reputable and influential periodicals in the country. Not only had many Russians known of the magazine, but they were also its dedicated readers. On the one hand, the interest in Russkoye Bogatstvo could have been justified by the excellent selection of its authors among the best Russian writers and scientists. On the other hand, its publishers were Russia’s most famous critics, publicists, and outstanding literary figures recognized in the cultural and scientific circles. The magazine publications stood out due to their excellent style and availability for people of various social levels: both educated readers and those without profound knowledge of literature, science, and arts. That led to the mixed results that were conceptualized after the experiment that was carried out in the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia during the preparation and holding of the Student's television film festival as part of the bachelor's training course "Creative Team Management". The authors put an increased focus on the development of a communicative-cognitive environment for elaborating soft skills in the form of games. The article presents the results of the integration of the D. Kolb's Experiential Learning method (an empiric basis) and the Pearson-Marr Archetype Indicator (a theoretical basis). This approach to learning let to solve several problems as theoretical, creative and practical. This study contributes to the development of an interdisciplinary model of "Four-Dimensional Education" (knowledge, skills, character, and meta-training), where a future professional would obtain not only theoretical knowledge and skills to predict the further developments in their field of expertise, and the proficiencies to use of constantly changing and expanding technologies for distant communication, but also a large spectrum of the personal qualities, axiological values aimed at positive behavior and engagement in the world. The results presented in the article would be helpful for the teachers in the tuition of future professionals in the various field of media studies.

Not only subject matter and semantics of the text /speech are recognized but also morphology of the situation, stages of its development, situational dynamics models, i.e. events prediction is determined by text and speech.
The organizing committee expresses particular gratitude to the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Rome, which provided invaluable assistance in preparing and holding the conference.
