literature already written about the recently developed field of sustainability marketing strategy
(SMS). Following a thorough explanation of the history of advancements in the industry, the
genesis of the notion of SMS is examined. Definitions and illustrations of several linked topics are
provided, and a survey is conducted of several datasets accessible between 1996 and 2011. Those
study articles that sufficiently explore the area have been chosen following an exhaustive search
of several journals. The chosen documents are, then categorized in accordance with different
standards in order to complete an exhaustive literature evaluation. In the conclusion, following an
analysis of the state of SMS research, a likely agenda.
