Since our founding in 1934
SAB has trained more dancers for careers in professional ballet than any other US school. Alumni comprise more than 95% of New York City Ballet and fill the ranks of companies across the US and around the world. SAB is the future of classical ballet.

Children’s Auditions
Each spring, we invite children ages 6-10 years old in the New York Metro Area to audition for the upcoming Winter Term. No experience is necessary.
Annual Alumni Celebration
Every year, on the Friday evening of Workshop Weekend, alumni from across generations gather at the School to toast the accomplishments of our performing students, and to reconnect as a community. We hope that you will join us for this year’s Celebration on June 6!
