I am currently participating in the Technology Transfer program by mentoring and providing professional consultative services, which seeks to safeguard and commercialize intellectual property advanced by its stakeholders. In particular, the Technology Transfer program has been created to foster and harmonize the efforts of the San Diego State community at large.

With the expanding prevalence of technology in our lives, it can be said that a reasonable relian... more With the expanding prevalence of technology in our lives, it can be said that a reasonable reliance on this same innovation and technology will be utilized for numerous and emergent purposes. With improved transdisciplinary functionality, increased analytic capability, and reproducible transparency, it makes sense that this area of research is rapidly becoming more accepted as an approach to solve our social, economic, and environmental problems. One such public policy issue is the need for the United States to construct a productive energy policy. With contrasting social, economic, and environmental thought pervading the creation of an effective energy policy, how then can our political leaders design a policy that meets the needs of the many rather than the few? A new emerging solution for this type of issue is being explored. The term Policy Analytics has become a logical framework in which to deal with the complex arrangement of issues in public policy creation. The premise of the new policy creation tool is based on existing methodology of Evidenced-based Policy-making (EBPM) theory. The removal of political motivation and reliance on computational science technology can be the bridge to reconcile the seemingly disparate methods to achieve seemingly congruent outcomes for the manifestation of US energy policy.

Central African Republic, Somalia, and Ethiopia face similar challenges in economic development, ... more Central African Republic, Somalia, and Ethiopia face similar challenges in economic development, environmental conservation, and social equity. Through the use of Sustainable Development, the examination of institutions, and empirical data, can solutions be forged. The paper examines the problem of the natural resource depletion of each country and subsequently provides a basic framework to increase stability, diffuse knowledge, and enrich local society by focusing on tangible actions items. The exploitation of natural resources in poor countries is an important problem noted by development experts (Collier, 2008). The dilemma of how to get the present material wealth funneled back to the populous is significant. Many institutional barriers exist both internal and external to the three countries. In a world of unprecedented wealth, a new paradigm of collaboration and conservancy must be developed. By examining the conditions of resource exploitation in Central African Republic, Somalia, and Ethiopia, a pragmatic solution of reformed policy and standardization of reporting metrics can be deployed to expedite good governance and promote equity.
