Optical fibers usually carry enormous data capacity. Therefore, fault detection and localizing it plays a major role in providing a stable and reliable network. So, it is very important to identify faults at first, the most fault that face optical fibers is fiber cut, which is phenomenon of interrupting active fiber optic that carry traffic due to working on the path that optical fiber cable implemented. There is another fault that fiber optic may experience as a result of high attenuation. Low attenuation is a major feature of fiber optics that encourages their use instead of metal cables. For this reason, any increase in their value causes a significant disruption of fiber optics and leads to interruption of services. Dispersion also leads to distortion of the information signal when fiber optic transmission is carried out. After passing through the fiber, the light impulses spread, and this phenomenon is called "pulse dispersion". The dispersion level determines the system's capacity because the largest number of pulses that can be received and resolved at the receiver are sent. The OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) is the most common technique used to detect faults in fiber optics, but it is not the only one. In this paper, several techniques for detecting faults of optical fibers were studied.

In this paper, some of ployphase signature sequences for direct sequence code division multiple access (DS/CDMA) system is proposed. The proposed sequences have good aperiodic correlation properties. The new sets of polyphase spreading sequences are the multiplication of the polyphase chirp sequences by some other binary sequences for example : Barker & Willard binary sequences .The obtained new sets of polyphase sequences tested by using of Matlab program have good correlation properties and performance in DS/CDMA systems.

These waves have many effects on the human body as well as our daily lives. The effects of electromagnetic waves cause many problems and diseases in the human body like cancer. Nowadays, types of the cancer caused by these waves has increased, because mobile users have increased. Because of the importance of human, this paper will address ways for humans to reduce the effects of electromagnetic waves and to reduce cancer. The proposal consists of many recommendations in wireless systems like mobile systems, guiding the users of wireless users specially mobile users how to reduce these waves effects. Furthermore, this research will describe methods to decrease electromagnetic waves and propose alternative techniques instead.

In this paper, a new access technique has been proposed, with the bandwidth of the system divided into ten sub-bands. Each sub-band has40 channels and the access is a multiband of the carrier CDMA (MBC-CDMA). The proposed access provides more flexibility for the base stations to re-use the frequency than MC-CDMA because of the use of frequency hopping between the channels as well as t he sub-bands. The hopping sequence depends on the spreading code. A comparison of the performance of the proposed access technique with MC-CDMA showed that there is an improvement in signal quality and BER performance, as an application, this proposed multiple access technique suitable for 4G mobile air interface for further interference reduction and in improvement in signal quality.
