The study was mainly conducted to check the impact of perceived green human resource management p... more The study was mainly conducted to check the impact of perceived green human resource management practices on employee's pro-envirnomental behavior, in the presence of moderating role of environmental knowledge, in banking industry, Kabul, Afghanistan. This means, green recruitment and selection, green training and development, green performance management was employed as the GHRM-practices and independent variables for this study, employee's pro-envirnomental behavior employed as the dependent variable, and envirnomental knowledge as moderator in this study. The sample of the respondents comprises of 351 with constitute of 70% of total population. The respondent demographic questions were mainly consisted of (gender, age, education, experience, and department). To collect data, adapted questionnaire was entertained, through Likert scale (1) strongly disagree, (2) disagree, (3) natural, (4) agree, (5) strongly agree and time series method was used. The study targeted different selected manufacturing industries working in the capital of Afghansitan. The study found, positive correlation of all variables, and found positive significant influence of independent variables on the dependent variable. This study also found moderating role of envirnomental knowledge between GRS, GTD, GPM and EPEB). This means, that positive significant influence of selected variables found in this study. Moreover, the study used SPSS .25 and AMOS .17 as the statistical tools to perform different test aimed to explore the results and findings for this research work. Due to the extensive importance of organizational sustainability, and employee's envirnomental behaviour, this study recommends the implementation of green human resrouces practices in manufacturing industy in Afghanistan.

The study is conducted on telecommunication sector, targeting four private organizations. The study is based on branch level in the capital city Kabul. A questionnaire consisting of 20 items distributed to measure globalization, demographic change and new technology. The results explore that these forces have significant influence on high performance work system. A significant limitation emerges for the existing study due to lack of research that could set up the chain between globalization, demographic change, new technology and high-performance work system in Afghanistan.

Independent variables (ethical and participative leadership), dependent variable (employee's turnover intention). To assess properly research distributed adopted questionnaire on a total of 380 employees which were engaged as a respondent for the study. Quota and convenient sampling technique were utilized to collect the data. They were selected based on having temporary job status for various temporary projects based organization in Kabul, Afghanistan. The overall findings of the study revels positive relationship between all the variables (IV) ethical and participative leadership, and (DV) employee's turnover intention. The paper further explains significant contribution. In particular, to those employees who works and engaging temporary projects. Finally, for test the data, and accurate data interpretation, we utilized SPSS 24 version.

There is a broad understanding that a relationship exists between leaders’ behavior and employees... more There is a broad understanding that a relationship exists between leaders’ behavior and employees’ reaction, particularly in the sense of presenteeism, which ensures the good health of employees. However, we agree that much less is understood about potential mediating processes that underline the links between supervisory support, presenteeism and employees’ support. İn this study, the indicators of employee performance are linked with presenteeism, while supervisor support plays a mediating factor. We linked social learning theory, where individuals value observable behaviors. The findings of the study revealed a positive relationship between presenteeism and employee performance in Erzincan state of
Turkey. The study found positive mediation of supervisory support between presenteeism and employee performance. The relationship of the research model was tested with the help of implementation of
adopted questionnaires from 280 individuals who responded as potential participants. The analysis explored positive remarks of the hypothesis (accepted). The findings of the study, contributes to both the academic and non-academic arenas, leading to potential understanding as to the importance of both presenteeism and supervisory support.

Findings-The findings support a positive relationship between variables; furthermore, the study revealed high contributive implications in both academic and non-academic arena. Moreover, the research suggests, diversity management practices must be considered critical as they can contribute to employees` performance. Sampling-For the current study, four major universities were selected. A total of 100 questionnaires were distributed, respondents were asked to mention their demographic characteristics, and answered the questions from (1) strongly disagree to (5) agree. Analysis-The current study used SPSS 24.0 version for data analysis collected from the respondents; some necessary regression tests were implemented for the study.

Human resources are found to be one of the most fundamental contributors in the success of any or... more Human resources are found to be one of the most fundamental contributors in the success of any organization. In the context of the education sector, the importance to be
attributed to the potential human capital and its management is ever-increasing. The
main purpose of the study is to establish the influence of human capital management on
performance of an organization, particularly within the education sector of Afghanistan.
For this purpose, 20 universities were selected, amongst which 10 universities were
private and the rest 10 were government institutions. The study used questionnaire
method to collect the required data from selected public and private universities in
Afghanistan. Three hundred employees were sampled from various higher education
institutions of the country, both public and private and the data were analyzed through
SPSS 16 version. The findings of the study depict a strong positive relationship between
human capital management and organizational performance.

resource management practices toward the pro-environmental behavior
of employees working in the manufacturing industry in Kabul,
Afghanistan. This study considered the positivism technique. The data
collection was done through questionnaires from 351 employees
working in manufacturing industries and subjected to SPSS for analysis.
The findings of the study revealed that selected green HRM-Practices
(GR&S, GT&D, and GPM) are positive predictors of employees’ proenvironmental behavior. Furthermore, the study obviously improves its
contribution toward an original research line to comprehend the
essentials of GHRM practices to improve employee pro-environmental
behavior in Afghanistan. Particularly, the study contributes to the
managerial level to understand how their efforts toward the
implementation of GHRM-practices generate pro-environmental
behavior. The study suggests that managers and employees at all levels
should maintain green practices to cope with rising environmental
issues in the manufacturing industries of Afghanistan. Moreover, the
study was one of the few research efforts in the Afghanistan context to
integrate GHRM-practices with employee’s pro-environmental
behavior, where still much research studies on GHRM-practices needed
to reveal their influence on environmental issues.

The ratio of employees in private universities in Afghanistan move from one university to another... more The ratio of employees in private universities in Afghanistan move from one university to another university is more challenging than ever and could be as a result of not having proper remuneration system. The main objective of this research was to find out effect of compensation packages on job satisfaction and employees’ retention. To achieve the purpose of the study, the researcher developed closed ended questionnaires consisting of 24 items and population of the study were both faculty and administrative staff of six private universities in Jalalabad city. 275 questionnaires were distributed, 257 were retrieved and 7 questionnaires were incomplete, therefore, 246 were valid which represent response rate of 89% of the sample and convenient sampling technique was used for data collection. Data was analysed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 20.0 for estimating regression and correlation models for testing hypotheses. The study found that compensation packages has significant positive relationship on job satisfaction and employees’ retention in private universities. The research suggested that compensation packages should be revised and updated according to the current labour market to attract, motivate and retain qualified employees for future success of academic institutions.
