Dalla nascita alla morte abbiamo un contatto continuo con lo Stato. Il contributo presenta un'analisi diacronica del ruolo dello Stato inquadrando tale ruolo con il livello di welfare e nel quadro del processo di privatizzazione

The close relationship with performance led many public administration scholars to deepen the concept of goal ambiguity in public management. However, given the lack of a univocal conceptualization of the phenomenon, the present work aims to contextualize goal ambiguity in the public administration, carrying out a systematic literature review. The results bring out goal ambiguity methods of measurement, its antecedents and consequences and the relationship between goal ambiguity and performance. From a theoretical point of view, the study allows systematizing the contributions on goal ambiguity, while from a practical point of view, a thorough knowledge of the concept allows public managers and policy-makers to obtain valuable information for the achievement of good organizational performance.

The identification of the main elements of service ecosystems allows for pinpointing the main drivers for sustainable value co-creation, which is intended as the creation in the long run of new service solutions set up with and for end-users to guarantee a better service for the whole society. Given the high interactivity required in the relationship between players involved in digital health services, we decided to apply the developed framework to eHealth, to re-read the eHealth sector as a service ecosystem. The model is tested through a case study represented by digital healthcare in the Autonomous Province of Trento, which represents a best practice in this sector. The results confirm the presence of the main elements of the service ecosystem (actors, resource integration, technology, institutions) in the eHealth sector and show how their integration favours the creation of new resources, new uses of technology and new institutions that produce innovation and sustainable value co-creation. The originality of the work lies in the reconceptualization of the digital health sector from a new perspective based on the assumptions of service-dominant logic, that allow us to analyze the eHealth ecosystem in a holistic and system view.

Design/methodology/approach An exploratory research, based on a qualitative approach, is conducted, using both constructivist grounded theory and Gioia methodology. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and roundtables administered to Italian key players. Findings The authors identify five actions (definition of territorial identity, involvement of internal and external supply chain actors, definition of quality standards, cooperation intra and infra supply chains, communication through technology) for collaboration in the development of rural areas that policymakers should encourage and actors in the supply chains must implement. The paper also entails both theoretical and practical implications. From the theoretical point of view, this study cont...

Measures taken by Governments to contain the contagion and limit social relations have had a significant impact also on foodservice. Starting in May 2020, Italian restaurants can only operate by reservation and tracking the identity of customers. ICT plays a fundamental role in supporting these changes, transforming barrier into opportunity and allowing the collection of a large amount of data on consumer behavior. Such data should be managed through a strategic approach to better optimize management. This paper presents a longitudinal study on the use of ICT platforms by Italian restaurant managers. The findings reveal how new rules imposed by Government changed restaurant managers’ attitude towards technology. In 2017 they showed reticence towards technology, not employed in a strategic way;today everyone uses ICT to improve business. The pandemic fostered a technological leap of many foodservice managers. Theoretical and practical implications for researchers and restaurateurs are discussed. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

L’unione delle due teorie consente la rilettura della value co-creation in ottica sistemica e propone una visione di lungo raggio della co-creazione, intesa come soluzione all’emersione di scenari complessi da contrastar

The paper underpins the idea that in defining heritage tourists’ behavior certain self-regulatory processes intervene. Generally, the self-regulatory mechanism encompasses the following phases: appraisal; emotional reaction; coping responses. Supporting the abovementioned assumption, the study tries to link the Self- Regulation approach (Bagozzi, 1992) in explaining heritage tourists’ intention formation to revisit or recommend the archaeological site. The proposed research model is tested through an empirical survey conducted at the archaeological site of Pompeii (Italy) on a sample of tourists that have completed the visit of the site. A confirmatory factor analysis is conducted in order to assess reliability of multi-item scales. The overall model and the relationships among the constructs are tested through a Structural Equation Model (SEM). According to the results of the research, it is possible to note that image has a strong and substantially equal effect in influencing evaluative satisfaction and emotional satisfaction. At the same time, evaluative satisfaction is stronger correlated with loyalty than emotional satisfaction, suggesting that experiential aspects of the visit play a fundamental role in influencing tourist behavior. The main limitation of the work is probably represented by the population of the sample: it could be unrepresentative of all geographical touristic regions. The paper helps firms, practitioners and politician to better manage cultural heritage destinations and to enable effective and efficient behaviours within contexts with multiple actors

To identify the determinants of academic entrepreneurial intention (AEI), we tested a model on a sample of Italian researchers using structural equation modeling and integrating the Triple Helix Model with the theory of planned behavior (TPB). The findings highlight that all psychological variables of TPB are relevant in predicting AEI, whereas only some contextual and exogenous variables (namely, government and industrial/financial support) directly influence AEI
