A total of 20 fungal species were isolated from 630 segments of stem and leaves and identified based on the morphology of fungal culture and spores. Colonization frequency was greater during rainy season than winter and summer. Some endophytic fungi were common to more than one host and few shows host-specificity.

The present papers deals with morphotaxonomy of species of Harpographium- Synnematious Hyphomycetes from Amravati were frequently growing on dead wood of higher angiosperms. Detailed morphology with Photographs were described in the present paper. For their specific identity detailed morphological characters and dimension of various fruiting bodies of these collections were studied and compared with already described one.

The fungal species Stachybotrys was isolated from decaying wood from Melghat forest of Amravati. ... more The fungal species Stachybotrys was isolated from decaying wood from Melghat forest of Amravati. The fungus Stachybotrys is a cellulolytic saprophyte. The present fungi were grown in vitro and the extract of the culture medium was fractionated by different solvent for GCMS analysis. Morphological characters such as size, length and width of conidia and phialides of species were observed using light microscope. In this study author compare two species of Stachybotrys on basis of morphology and also study secondary metabolite content of species.

Secondary metabolites were produce from isolated endophytic fungi to investigate their antibacterial activity.Thefungal culture was extracted with ethyl acetate and crude extract was used to test against pathogenic bacteria viz. Pseudomonas aeruginosa,(MTCC 6458), Escherichia coli (MTCC 1698),and Staphylococcus aureus(MTCC 2639). A total of 13 fungal species viz.Colletotrichumacutatum, Colletotrichumgloeosporiodes, Pithomyceschartarum, Aspergillusnidulance, Trimmatostromahughesii, Curvularialunata, Cladosporiumcladosporiodes, Nigrosporaoryzae, Alternariaalternata ,Aspergillusstellatus,Acremoniumkiliense,Fusariumoxysporum, Penicilliumchrysogenumwere isolated and identified based on the morphology of the fungal cultureand characteristics of the spores. Key words;Antibacterial potential, Seasonal variation, Amravat

Melghat located at central India present at satpura range in Maharashtra. Ganoderma are frequently grown at Melghat region. Melghat region having victims of Malnutrition. Ganoderma may be helps to reduce malnutrition. Study of Three species in Ganoderma that is Ganoderma lucidum, Ganoderma applantum and Ganoderma multiplicatum shows Nutritional, Medicinal, Antibacterial, Antioxidants values. Ganoderma lucidium shows higher number of nutritional value such as Carbohydrates, Proteins, Fiber, Vitamin C, Polysaccharides, etc as compare to Ganoderma applantum and Ganoderma multiplicatum. Secondary metabolites such as Alkaloids, Flavonoids, Triterpenoids and so many metabolites are present in Ganoderma. Ganoderma lucidum shows higher amount of Scavenging activity against DPPH free radical. All three species of Ganoderma shows tremendous Antibacterial activity against E.coli. Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumonia and Staphylococcus aureus. Such type of nutritional as well as nutraceutical value containing food may be use to reduce malnutrition in Melghat.

Roots are the site of production of growth regulators such as cytokinins, gibberllins are the site of starch storage. Root provides a nutrients supply for wide range of microorganisms. After survey investigators collected Cymopsis plant from the field and soil samples used for serial technique. Cultures were obtained . Out of which Aspergillus flavus selected for further studies. Effect of the extract of A. flavus on growth of Cymopsis was very promising.
