I'm a geek living in a fabulous apartment that's all my cat's, except that I pay the rent. I have one tattoo, which is an infinity symbol. I'm attending school full-time, studying Computer Science. I've been blogging on LJ on this very account for over ten years! I like my coffee locally-roasted but fairly-traded, medium-dark, with local-dairy cream and turbinado sugar. I thoroughly enjoy baking and cooking, and find kneading bread to be a most relaxing activity. Of course, I'm also trying to eat healthier, so there are some tradeoffs. I am making progress toward my goal though!

I have a Retina MacBook Pro (late-2013 15"), a C2D desktop running Win8.1, and an HTC One M8 that is my constant lifeline to Twitter and Robot Unicorn Attack. I used to have too many computers (they outnumbered me 6 to 1); now I have a lower electric bill, hooray. I still do not have enough space on my bookshelves.

I thank my grandfather and my grade-7 English teacher for the inspiration they provided, and for their faith in me.
