Baltimore Casting Call Vancouver Film School is currently casting for a short film called "Baltimore" which deals with the mysterious final week of Edgar Allan Poe's life. We are especially interested in auditioning actors with theatrical backgrounds.EDGAR ALLAN POE (35-50)At the end of his life, the famous author is a shell of his former self. Analcoholic, depressed and driven to madness by jealousy and his obsession withhis dead child-bride, Poe finds peace only in his death. As in one of hisworks, the main character's obsession leads to his demise. He is tired andwithered but eloquent. His alcoholism has not erased his famous charm. Theessential archetype of the dysfunctional artist, his artistic personaovershadowing his authentic self.VIRGINIA POE (18-25)Married to Poe at age 13, Virginia has now been dead for two years. Her spiritappears to Poe, guiding him through his life and leading him towards his death. She is youthful, beautiful and otherworldly with captivating eyes. The onlylight in Poe's dysfunctional life, Virginia serves as Poe's idealized objectfor love. She cannot cope with being Poe's only source of joy.MARIA CLEMM (35-50)Poe's mother in law and Virginia's mother. She blames Poe for herdaughter's death and resents his continued literary success. A stern, bitterand cruel-looking matriarch, Maria guards the secret that drives Poe to madnessand death. She knowingly guards the validation and maternal approval desperatelysought after by Poe.PRUDENCE RIGHTS (20-35)A young woman in love with Poe, or rather, in love with Poe's fame. Simple-minded, obsessed with fashion and popularity, Prudence has almost givenup on Poe who remains obsessed with his late wife, Virginia.Auditions will take place between January 31st and February 5th. holy shit is this community going slow.what nothing to say or point out?!heh Priemier martin is running around in circles. Why? cause he's scared that someone either than libral will take his place!I think they have done enough damage that I can say I have a feeling it might be the conservatives taking over.NDP I don't really think they have a chance but hey if they win good on them.
