Before I list this on ebay...
Would anybody be interested in purchasing all, or part, of my Tolkien collection? I plan on keeping most or all of the books, the video game, the movies and soundtracks, and other various things that I can't sell (like my "One Ring", which is actually my father's wedding band). Otherwise, the posters, magazines, props, trading cards, etc., are all up for grabs.
It makes me very sad to sell my Tolkien stuff, but I need to consolidate what I own so that when I move out I don't have 58936489634 things to bring with me. I just don't think it's feasible to take *all* of this to college with me, and I don't want it to sit here unused for years and years.
You guys get first shot at it - post with what you're interested in, and I'll post a reasonable (lower-than-retail) price. If you like the price, IM me and we'll work out a sale.

Ok, sorry for the huge delay, way out of town for the holiday. anyway, the vote seems pretty unanimous. i figure i'll post a few starting paragraphs of a fanfic and someone can call dibs if they want to write next. then they post a few paragraphs and so on and so on. is that cool with everyone?

Everyone seems to have gone away!!
Ok, so I'm going to the Master Of The Rings convention in Manchester in October, one of the stars of which is going to be the ever-gorgeous Craig Parker. Is anyone else out there going?
I saw Jarl Benzon, who played Glorfindel (for about 2 seconds, amongst other roles) at the Memorabilia convention at the NEC in Birmingham, and he's going to be at the Master of the Rings con too. Although I didn't get to speak to him for long, I told him that I'd see him in Manchester, and got two thumbs up, which was supremely cool!!
