  Today, our Nordic team gathered for an insightful seminar, where we delved into the future of healthcare and digital collaboration. The agenda was packed with engaging presentations and discussions, providing valuable insights into the evolving landscape of the industry. One of the highlights was the presentation of the Valo project 'Value from Nordic Health Data' by IQVIA's Susanna Flaherty. This was followed by an enlightening session on digital collaboration in the future, presented by Lars Hulbaek, Director of MedCom, who shared his perspective on digital collaboration through the lens of MedCom. The day continued with a deep dive potential of AI in shaping the future of healthcare featuring presentations on IQVIA Health-grade AI by Søren Bæk and AI Chatbot large language modules & Governance by Admed Zewain from 2021.AI. The day ended with a top relevant discussion around the future of the Danish healthcare system, exploring various perspectives and positions on the government's new healthcare reform communicated earlier today. The panel debate, facilitated by IQVIA's Jesper Eriksen, featured Kjeld Møller Pedersen, Professor of Health Economics at the University of Southern Denmark, and Jørgen Schøler Kristensen, Chairman of the Medicine Council.

  At today's MVA Annual Summit 2024 industry leaders, researchers, and experts came together to explore the latest advancements and opportunities in the vibrant Medicon Valley region.   Last week Carita Grahn, Clinical Operations Manager in IQVIA, took part in the Nordic-Baltic Conference in Clinical Trials 2024. The discussion focused on actions to boost clinical trials in the area and how to make Finland more attractive for conducting more clinical trials. Different countries introduced their national strategies and best practices. Finland is renowned for its strong performance in clinical trials, thanks to its skilled healthcare professionals, motivated patients, and comprehensive patient registers. However, the number of new clinical trials has decreased recently, highlighting the need for improvements in legislation, permit processes, and funding.
