Seal Report follows a dual-licensing model to ensure its maintenance, quality, and support.

Non-profit Usage
If you represent a non-profit organization, or if you are using Seal Report for educational purposes or training courses,
you can install and use Seal Report in your own production environment under the Community MIT license.

Small Businesses
For companies generating less than $1 million USD in annual gross revenue,
you can install and use Seal Report in your own production environment under the Community MIT license.

Larger Businesses
Companies with an annual gross revenue exceeding $1 million USD are required to purchase a Commercial License.
The type of license needed depends on the usage of Seal Report in your production environment.

Customer Deployment
Companies deploying Seal Report at their customer sites are required to purchase a Commercial License.
The type of license needed depends on the usage of Seal Report in the production environments.

Answer:
If your company has an annual gross revenue exceeding $1 million USD, you are required to purchase a Standard License for one production environment.
If your company has an annual gross revenue less than $1 million USD, you can use the MIT Community License for free.


Question:
I am using Seal Report from the standard setup package provided on Github. The product is deployed and used at different customer sites. What license do I need ?
Answer:
If your customers' companies have an annual gross revenue exceeding $1 million USD, you must purchase either a Standard or Enterprise License by company or a Redistributable License for your company.


Question:
I am using Seal Report from the standard setup package provided on GitHub. The product is deployed on the cloud through a Microsoft Azure application. Do I need a license?
Answer:
If your company has an annual gross revenue exceeding $1 million USD, you are required to purchase either a Standard license if you have only one instance or an Enterprise License if you have several instances.
Otherwise, you can use the MIT Community License for free.


Question:
I have modified the source code and compiled Seal Report to integrate it into my project. The project is deployed on several sites of my company. What license do I need ?
Answer:
If your company has an annual gross revenue exceeding $1 million USD, you must purchase an Enterprise License for several production environments.
Otherwise, you can use the MIT Community License for free.


Question:
I have bought a license. What is next step ?
Answer:
After the license payment, you will receive a license file by email, which you should copy in your Seal Report production environment.


Question:
I have bought a Standard License on February 5, 2024. Will I have to buy a license in February 2025 ?
Answer:
If you are using a Seal Report version released before February 5, 2025, you can still use your perpetual license.
If later, you want to upgrade to a Seal Report version released after February 5, 2025, you will have to buy a new license.
