iterator_count

iterator_count — Count the elements in an iterator

Description

Parameters

iterator

The iterator being counted.

Return Values

The number of elements in iterator.

Example #1 iterator_count() example

The above example will output:

`Be aware that counting over NoRewindIterator will make items unavailable:

'pancakes', 'egg', 'milk', 'flour']); iterator=newNoRewindIterator(iterator = new NoRewindIterator(iterator=newNoRewindIterator(iterator);var_dump($iterator->current()); var_dump(iterator_count($iterator)); var_dump($iterator->current()); $iterator->rewind(); // Does not work because it's NoRewindIterator var_dump($iterator->current()); var_dump(iterator_count($iterator));?>
