"Sensual excess drives out pity in man." (original) (raw)
"You're very healthy for a man your age, Mr. alkjdawlkjwa" "I'm like french bread; the longer I'm around, the harder I get."
"C'mon James, I'm like an egg. Hard on the outside, but if you prick my yolk in just the right spot, I'll gush all over you."
During his rule, Elagabalus showed a disregard for Roman religious traditions and sexual taboos. He was married as many as five times and is reported to have prostituted himself in the imperial palace. Elagabalus replaced Jupiter, head of the Roman pantheon, with a new god, Deus Sol Invictus, and forced leading members of Rome's government to participate in religious rites celebrating this deity, which he personally led.
Today I have begun to read, passionately, "Philosophy in the Boudoir", it is simply fascinating, I was very interested in the stimulating actions of its colorfully written words and its characters. But even more than that, the justification of all its meaning, what it is to be a libertine...and reason for it that I found to be so true about many things, Religion, Egoism, Sensuality, Sexuality, of all the vices and pleases that this society calls crime as well as others do, I am truly enlightened, before reading this I had read bits and pieces of 120 Days of Sodom, which I understood to an extent, mainly because I was drunk and enjoying its festive and enthusiastic way of explaining how the characters went about their sexual intercourse. But after reading through, after digesting his words and his ideas and more than anything else, his arguements...his judgements on anything and everything in nature and deviation from institutions such as the church. Before I was introduced to this literature I felt very alone in what I thought about things, I felt as if they were absurd, other than my cousin and a few select others, I saw these overly sexual thoughts as a incorrect thing, but now more than ever, I am overwhelmed by its teachings and this feeling of lonesome, this feeling of incorrectness, I feel it has now lifted me, I must thank her in this post to our community, for introducing me to such great literature and presenting me with it as a gift, one of my two most dearest libertines, Zandrea, I thank you for such a great gift, as it has helped me realize that my thoughts and ideas were not as corrupt and foul as I thought them to be, though I am not even half way through reading it, it has enlightened me already, I understand and now know that I, like few others close to me, am a libertine.
Gilles de Rais (also spelled Retz) (September 10, 1404 – October 26, 1440) was a French noble, soldier, and one time brother-in-arms of Joan of Arc. He was later accused and ultimately convicted of torturing, raping and murdering dozens, if not hundreds, of young children, mainly boys.
He is distinguished also by his integration of his daily prayers with his nightly crimes, both of them being for him a path to ecstasy.

The extensive witness testimony convinced the judges that there were adequate grounds for establishing the guilt of the accused. After Rais admitted to the charges on October 21, the court canceled a plan to torture him into confessing. The transcript, which included testimony from the parents of many of the missing children as well as graphic descriptions of the murders provided by Rais' accomplices, was said to be so lurid that the judges ordered the worst portions to be stricken from the record.
According to surviving accounts, Rais lured children, mainly young boys who were blond haired and blue eyed (as he had been as a child), to his residences, and raped, tortured and mutilated them, often masturbating over the dying victim. He and his accomplices would then set up the severed heads of the children in order to judge which was the most fair. The precise number of Rais' victims is not known, as most of the bodies were burned or buried. The number of murders is generally placed between 80 and 200; a few have conjectured numbers upwards of 600. The victims ranged in age from six to eighteen and included both sexes. Although Rais preferred boys, he would make do with young girls if circumstances required.

Perversion is, of course, not a modern construct in the least. Depravity is part of nature, and nature has existed before man.
I would like, for a moment, to put a spotlight on an example of debauchery in man's past. Japan is arguably one of the world's most 'perverted' nations - what other country sports vending machines where you can purchase used panties? What other country introduced the dazzling spectacle of tentacle rape? Or guro, which is a lovely refreshment for any libertine's eyes to feast upon.
Japan is a wonderful example of the point that perversion is not a modern construct. Displayed beneath the cut is a woodblock print from feudal Japan depicting a courtly tale of rape.
I invite my fellow libertines to look for and find inspiration in evidence of perversion throughout the ages.
Ah, Easter, most glorious of days. Though the Christian scum may use such a day to celebrate their fictional deities, the libertine must never forget the true meaning of the holiday - fertility. It is my fondest wish that my fellow libertines spread their seed liberally this day, and used thoughts of blasphemy and idolatry to assist in their discharges.

Wish me luck and all that other generic bullshit, I lost Calcutta, I won't lose this, :^D Farewell my fellow Libertines!
