okay, so i've been considering getting my septum pierced for a long time. and the opportunity now arises! a girl in my town does everyone's piercings, including her own, and they look really good and heal well. she uses professional equipment and knows what she's doing.so anyway, i want your opinions. here are a few recent pics of me-do you think i could pull off the septum? i want a curved barbell with two spikes on the ends.

hello! my name is stephanie and i just got my septum done. it look me an hour to get ready for it, every time the needle would come towards me i freaked out but i finally did it. I LOVE IT. i have to wear it up all the time though because of my parents but its worth just having it. its my first big piercing other than my ears.

My Dentist suggested that I get my nose pierced, since my ears were multiple-pierced (She enjoys playing with my 6 Captive Bead Rings in each ear, when she takes a break from working), after injecting my upper, front gums with two big shots of Xylocain for a couple of root canals. Since I always do what my Dentist tells me to do (Brush twice per day, Floss 4 times per week, etc.), I drove the 1/2 mile to Freaky's Tattoos and Piercings in Glendale, CO, and had my Septum pierced. About a month later, I had both Nostrils pierced, too. I love them all!

My Dentist suggested that I get my nose pierced, since my ears were multiple-pierced (She enjoys playing with my 6 Captive Bead Rings in each ear, when she takes a break from working), after injecting my upper, front gums with two big shots of Xylocain for a couple of root canals. Since I always do what my Dentist tells me to do (Brush twice per day, Floss 4 times per week, etc.), I drove the 1/2 mile to Freaky's Tattoos and Piercings in Glendale, CO, and had my Septum pierced. About a month later, I had both Nostrils pierced, too. I love them all!

Hey! Im so glad I found a community of people who love their septum just as much as meee. My septum is definetly my favorite piercing although my parents despised me when I came home with it.( pic of my septum Collapse )Thats me a day after I got it done. Ive had it for 8 months now and Im so glad i got it.

I had my septum pierced a moth ago and i love it i usually flip it up so my mom wont see but its not like she dont "check" for boogers or nothing.... i use a 16. and my retainer is much smaller... you can barely make it out but would i be able to get a horse barbel and STILL flip it up ?

I pierced my septum a little over four months ago. It healed without a hitch, and I love it. I wear a retainer during work, and slip in a curved barbell when I have a few days off. Captive beads just don't work with me, but they're more trouble to get on, anyway. It took me a few months after I decided I wanted one to actually get it, because my boyfriend hates the way they look. After I'd had it for a month, he he finally admitted that it's "not so bad."( pictures Collapse )

[ mood \| sore ] Hello. I got my septum pierced last tuesday (3 days ago). It's my 8th body piercing (ears not counted). I'd been thinking about it for a bit and decided I wouldn't know what it looked like until I had it done...so off I went!It's currently red and sore, but I'm hoping it will improve!

I plan on getting my septum pierced as soon as possible. I can't wait anymore. I've had my eye on this piercing forever. It'll be my first piercing, aside from my ears. I wanted only one facial piercing, and I've decided this is it. The moment I saw it, I knew it was perfect.I've read through a lot of the entries here, and here's what I've planned - 16g with as small a ring as possible. When I go to get it done, will they offer to let me look at the rings I can have during the healing process?I'd love to hear some piercing stories in detail.

I just found out that circular barbells for septums at the tattoo shop in my town cost THIRTY DOLLARS. I dont' know if that's normal, but it's way more than I'm willing to spend, so I decided I'm just gonna buy one online. The only thing is, I don't know the specifics of what size they're supposed to be. I mean, I know my piercing is a 12 gauge, but I don't know what the diameter is or whatever. So if anybody could help me out with that, that'd be really cool. Thanks!

I am planning on getting my septum pierced in the next week. The dress code at my school does not allow visible piercings so I plan on just flipping the ring up while I'm at school. I'm wondering if it will be healed enough to flip it up in the next 2 to 3 weeks. Also, what kind of quirks or aftercare should I be aware of about septum's? Thanks in advance.

[ mood \| hot ] Im new to this.but i think this is cool...:]i havent seen much people w/ their septums pierced.:]umm. my name is Liz.and ive had my piercing for about uhhhh...5 months now.i love it.and i always loose the ring...hhaha cuz i always take it off && stuff.but yah thats it.&& i guess a picture is required so here it goes.ahaha.
