- Improving speed and accuracy! We’re thrilled to announce that at the recent NVIDIA Code Fest, we successfully integrated LynxScribe, our modular generative AI platform, with #NIMs and #cuVS! By leveraging NVIDIA’s GPU-based cuVS vector store (using faiss-gpu and Milvus), we enhanced the RAG method and achieved an impressive 481 retrievals/sec on a massive 15M BioASQ dataset using a single NVIDIA A100 GPU (80GB)! Furthermore, with a 4-GPU cluster, we realized a 1100x speed boost compared to CPU-based methods (1.5 retrievals/sec). Additionally, we significantly improved LynxScribe’s RAG graph retrieval accuracy: for complex, law-based questions, we achieved a 93% probability of including the ground truth node in the top 5 retrieved nodes, compared to 59% with standard RAG. For our customers, this means faster insights and more reliable solutions, even for the most challenging business questions. We’re happy to share moments from Abhik S. recent presentation at the SITC 2024, where he presented a breakthrough research. By applying pattern mining algorithms, we have extracted meaningful and actionable insights from complex biological datasets, ultimately contributing to advancements in disease understanding and treatment. The study dives into how Graph AI can be harnessed to provide deeper insights into cancer survival rates by examining GPC3 gene expression and NK-cell tumor infiltration in Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC). This approach allows us to uncover previously hidden patterns and correlations between gene expressions and other mechanics of action in immunology, which can serve as potential markers for treatment response and outcomes in liver cancer patients. In partnership with NAYA Biosciences, we’re proud to advance graph-based AI technology in cancer research, helping clinicians and researchers improve understanding and outcomes for HCC patients.
