About us

Starbucks operations in Singapore is fully licensed to Maxim's Caterers Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong and a leading restaurant operator of multiple brands across Asia. The first Starbucks store opened on 14 December 1996 at Liat Towers, strategically located along the nation's renowned Orchard Road shopping belt. Starbucks coffee houses offer more than the finest coffee sourced from across the globe. Friendly people, great music and a comfortable upbeat meeting place create the famous Starbucks Experience. The layout and atmosphere of Starbucks stores is specifically designed to be cosy and intimate, while at the same time providing people with their own personal space to use as they wish. The combination of sofas, armchairs, coffee tables and chairs, bars and stools, and meeting room tables means that there is something for everyone. • We’re excited to share that Starbucks Singapore was part of this year’s Singapore Barista Team Championship, held during Singapore Coffee Week 2024! 🌟 In this thrilling competition, teams of four highly skilled baristas went head-to-head, each racing against the clock to create exceptional coffee beverages. ☕ We proudly sent three teams of four talented partners (employees) to compete, each team bringing their passion, skills, creativity and team spirit to the competition. The competition was intense with each team racing to make 15 drinks in just 10 minutes for the qualifying rounds, and 20 drinks in 15 minutes for their quarter, semi & final rounds - a true test of speed, precision, and expertise. ✨ Beyond the thrill of competition, this event was an amazing opportunity to connect with Singapore’s vibrant coffee community and celebrate our shared love for the craft. We are beyond thrilled to share the incredible achievements of our teams: Aurorista, Black Titan, and Caffeine Crusaders! 🚀 - Caffeine Crusaders: Achieved 1st Runner-Up - Aurorista: Achieved 2nd Runner-Up - Black Titan: Achieved Top 8 A big thank you to our partners (employees) for their hard work and dedication, and to everyone who cheered us on.   The holiday magic is brewing at Starbucks Singapore! We’ve wrapped up our Christmas Roadshow, bringing together our Store Managers across Singapore to get in the festive spirit. 🎄 This year’s theme, “Inside Out,” was all about staying united through the different emotions we experience, both individually and as a team. Our managers dressed up as Joy, Sadness, Anger, and other characters to represent the importance of embracing our feelings and supporting one another through every moment. ️❤️💛💙💚💜 One district stood out and took home the Best Dressed title, channeling the “Anger” emotion with a sharp suit, red tie, and homemade masks — it was a fiery, unforgettable look! 🔥 Through much laughter and (Sadness-approved) tears, we shared exciting year-end plans, upcoming promotions, and, of course, the much-anticipated Christmas drinks menu with new seasonal flavours. 🌟 To wrap it all up, we ended on a high note with a Christmas gift exchange and a thrilling latte art competition, showcasing the incredible talent of our partners across the districts. 🎁 We’re ready to head into the festive season together with our cups full and our hearts fuller! 🎅🎄 #StarbucksSingapore #HolidaySeason #FestiveDrinks #YearEndPlans #InsideOut

That’s why, for the second year, we are proud to partner with Rainbow Centre, an organisation dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to live Good Lives – lives that are thriving, and full of potential! ✨🌈 As Sports and Outdoor Education Activity facilitators, our Starbucks partners (employees) were paired with youths for meaningful hiking activities. Through the hike, we had the opportunity to bond in our pairs and got to learn more about their daily lives in school. During these sessions, our volunteers ensure safety while building genuine friendships, helping to reduce social isolation and foster strong connections with the youths.
