📣 Announcing a significant milestone - SunGreenH2 has entered strategic partnership agreements with MMI Systems Pte Ltd and H2 Energy that were formalised yesterday at a signing ceremony held at Asia Clean Energy Summit, part of Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW). As a global leader in high-precision manufacturing, MMI will help in scaling manufacturing of SunGreenH2’s electrolysers, enabling an annual production capacity of #100MW utilising high-throughput manufacturing capabilities. This collaboration accelerates our ability to scale production, roll out our high-performance #greenhydrogen electrolysers globally, and strengthens the region’s position in the global hydrogen supply chain. Our collaboration with H2 Energy on renewable energy and off-grid/decentralised electrification projects in #Malaysia will see us deploying hydrogen electrolysers and fuel cell-based renewable energy solutions for rural communities and facilities. The systems will be assembled locally to supply multiple, modular, scalable sizes of electrolysers to support sustainable energy projects in underserved areas, improving lives and providing reliable, affordable access to power. Together, our #crossbordercollaboration is not only advancing Singapore’s #cleanenergy ambitions but also driving sustainable development in Malaysia and regionally, with innovative hydrogen technologies that are critical to the transition toward a low-carbon sustainable energy future . SunGreenH2 is delighted to be part of the DecarLOG (Decarbonising Campus and Intra-Site Transport Logistics using Onsite Green Hydrogen Production) project, recently selected by Connected Places Catapult. In collaboration with PlusZero Ltd and Heriot-Watt University, this initiative will showcase innovative solar-to-hydrogen fuel generation to power a cargo cycle designed for daily transportation of light freight and people, using locally produced renewable fuel. This project will pioneer a safe, closed-loop, zero-emission energy system for campus mobility. Our #advancedAEMelectrolyser will play a crucial role, supporting clean #hydrogen production for this #zeroemission #energy system. I’m pleased to share that our collaborative project, Decarbonising Campus and Intra-Site Transport Logistics using Onsite Green Hydrogen Production (DecarLOG), led by our industry partner PlusZero Ltd, has been selected as one of three groundbreaking demonstration projects funded by Connected Places Catapult. This innovative initiative will showcase solar-to-hydrogen fuel generation at Heriot-Watt University, with the hydrogen being used to refuel a cargo cycle designed by the PlusZero team. The cycle will utilize interchangeable low-pressure metal hydride canisters for fuel storage. We anticipate that this solar-to-hydrogen solution will enable the daily transportation of light freight and people using locally produced renewable fuel. This project will pioneer a safe, closed-loop, zero-emission energy system for campus mobility. The project will feature a heavy-duty electric pedal-assist cargo cycle, which combines human and motorized power to transport materials at low speeds across campus, replacing fossil-fuel-powered vehicles. I want to express my sincere gratitude to the PlusZero team for this incredible opportunity. Thanks to our industry partner, SunGreenH2 Electrolyser, Singapore, for their invaluable contribution to the solar-to-hydrogen testbed operation.
