This important matter is recommended to parents through mass media and to children through schools. The objective: The overall objective of this research is the investigation of the relationship between the source of control on self-esteem of male and female deaf students in Ahvaz in the academic year of 2014 – 2015. The methodology: Instruments used in this research are Cooper Smith self-esteem questionnaire and Rotter locus of control. Using the simple random sampling method, 50 male and 50 female deaf students were selected who answered the mentioned questionnaires. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between parenting style and behavioral disorders in preschool children in the Shadegan city. The method used in this study, is the correlational (descriptive). The sample consisted of 40 mothers of preschool children in Shadegan city with an available sampling have been selected. To measure the variables in the study Connors behavioral disorders questionnaire (parent form) and Bamirind parenting questionnaires used. To analyze the data, Pearson correlation analysis used. The current study intends to evaluate and compare the personality traits and depression in the di... more The current study intends to evaluate and compare the personality traits and depression in the diabetic and kidney patients in Shadegan city . The tools used in this research include Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). The sampling method was a simple random one which was carried out on the study population including 50 diabetic and 50 kidney patients in Shadegan city who responded to the two relevant questionnaires. In addition, to analyze the data, T-test for the independent group was used. The results showed that there is a significant difference between personality traits and depression in diabetic and kidney patients. It was observed that the prevalence of personality traits and depression in diabetic patients was less than that of kidney patients.
