When the architecture is the art of designing a spa ce for certain purposes; the architectural de... more When the architecture is the art of designing a spa ce for certain purposes; the architectural design of the museum is the ability to create a spe cial and inspiring envelop, which provides its visitors with different experiences, according to its cultural message. It became the main place for preserving artworks, inventions, and huma n achievements. The architectural design of museums has passed through many stages from the onset of the concept of creating a space to preserve artifacts, until it became now th e main cultural and educational beacon for communities, which made it from the most important building types. It was developed over centuries until it became a separate building with special architectural characteristics. This paper discusses the evolution of the museum archite cture from the B. C till now, in order to study its evolving circumstances, which had managed its esign concept and the new design technologies, which is affecting its design nowaday s.

Within the context of the museum, the cultural message is coded, decoded, and delivered to the visitor through an experience. The research aims to discuss the role that architecture plays as a physical context in the construction of visitors' experience, and in the display of the cultural message of the museum, through observing the visitors experience within the Jewish Museum in Berlin, as one of the most influencing buildings in the late 20th century. The research was done based on an observation, where the researcher was acting as a participant observer, and the observation is presented in a thick description form as one of the technical documentation methods to adhere the human experience within the architectural context.

Le Corbusier's Museum of Unlimited Growth is representing one of the earliest modern architecture... more Le Corbusier's Museum of Unlimited Growth is representing one of the earliest modern architecture that is oriented towards the future. Through which he tried to create a prototype for The Ture Museum, from his point of view. Based on his five design elements of the modern architecture, Le Corbusier proposed new five lessees concepts in the design of the Museum of Unlimited Growth (order less – face less – place less – end less – time less). The paper aims to discuss Le Corbusier’s theory of Unlimited Growth Museum, through analyzing the transformation process from a conceptual design principles for the modern architecture, to a theory, and into a museum prototype with a significant characteristics. In addition, it analyses the museum design proposed by Le Corbusier, and its relationship to history, space, and time. This will be achieved through examining The National Museum of Western Art in Tokyo, as one of Le Corbusier's museums prototype that represents the great interface between localization, and idealization.

Recently, the whole culture of museums has been changed. The old museological ideologies have bee... more Recently, the whole culture of museums has been changed. The old museological ideologies have been transformed from conservation to the share knowledge and experiences, which is considered step towards the future. The 20th century has witnessed the emergence of the corporate museums phenomenon as an advanced form of investment in culture introduced by the industrial corporations, and used as a marketing device. Collections was selected from the corporations' archives that represents the history of the brand, and the new developments and technologies in their products. As a socio-cultural institution, corporate museums are playing a significant role in the promotion of culture, through enabling visitors to view the brand's history in depth. As an exhibition based facilities, corporate museums are drawing their own cultural identity, which is essential in the globalization crisis of identities. Thus, create the need to design an inspiring physical context that represents the company identity and the high quality of its products. The paper demonstrates the representation of the cultural identities within the architecture of the corporate museums, the design of the exhibition space, the scenography and the selection of collections through a comparative analysis based on a field observation for Porsche Museum and Mercedes Benz Museum.
