We modeled a virtual E-commerce market where we evaluated the collaborative filtering algorithm. Our findings were as follows: 1) the number of neighbors is a key parameter and there is a trade-off due to market circumstances, 2) a bigger number of neighbors performed better, with a tendency that was independent of the degree of clustering of consumer preferences, 3) if there were any high-frequency purchasers, a smaller number of neighbors performed better.

Instructors were often only able to talk about the various types of strategies and influences imposed by various business performance indexes when lecturing on the supply chain management courses. Although, by developing a ‘beer game’ information system (MIT Forum has its Web-based version), the Northwestern University in U.S. has addressed that the problems of supply chain are solved and whoever interested in supply chain can participate in the beer game and learn about the supply chain through playing. However, the fixed and un-modifiable imitative setup and system parameters that could not be flexibly adjusted by the instructors were indeed the biggest weakness of the game. As the result, this paper has proposed an agent based beer game which enables not only for instructors to set supply chain scale freely or imitate various...

We apply SOARS (Spot Oriented Agent Role Simulator) for designing hybrid-learning environment. In the hybrid-learning environment, both of students and computer agents interact each other and learn socioeconomic systems simultaneously.

Rhodobacter (Rb.) sphaeroides G1C and R26 and Chlorobium (C.) limicola f. thiosulfatophilum. The obtained spectra, which were preresonanced with the Qy bands of bacteriochlorophyll-a (BChl-a) or bacteriochlorophyll-c (BChl-c), did not contain contributions from major components of the bacteria such as proteins and lipids, and therefore, provided selectively structural information about BChl-a in the light-harvesting (LH) complexes (Rb. sphaeroides) or BChl-c in the chlorosome (C. limicola f. thiosulfatophilum) in a totally nondestructive manner.

Our results indicate that CuIr_2S4 is the first three-dimensional compound to undergo a simultaneous charge ordering and spin-lattice dimerisation transition, which explains the evolution of the transport and
