No man but feels more of a man in the world if he have a bit of ground that he can call his own. However small it is on the surface, it is four thousand miles deep; and that is a very handsome property. ~ Charles Dudley Warner

I like that quote. Makes you feel rich. I don't actually own anything, but my parents do, and I'm a bum, so. Y'know. It balances out.

Anyhow! HOORAY FOR FRIDAY AND LONG WEEKENDS! THREE BEERS! I mean cheers. ;)

I thought, since nothing interesting has happened to me lately, it would be a fabulous time to remind everyone how pedestrian life can be by updating my cereal project. So put on your Lucky Leprechaun hats, fellas.

1. Frosted Mini-Wheats - Yumazing! (See what I did there? Yum + amazing =...) Filling, good crunch - everything a cereal should be.
2. Raisin Bran - Classically tasty. The raisins give it just enough sweetness.
3. Mini-Wheats Strawberry Delight - I didn't expect to like this one as much as I did, but then again, I have an unexplained immediate love of any food that's pink. ?
4. Special K Red Berry - Good, but I still wouldn't want to eat it for two meals a day, even if it DID make me lose weight.
5. Apple Jacks - I'll probably always love these. Don't really taste much like apple, but there's something comforting about them.
6. Mini-Wheats Blueberry Muffin - The blueberry's a little sweet for me.
7. Rice Krispies - mostly in the form of gooey treats. These are good and they sing to you! But they only fill me up for like 10 minutes or something ridiculous. Added bonus: if you're feeling lonely and pathetic at breakfast, at least your cereal talks to you!
8. Special K - Oh my god, I like bland cereal.
9. Cracklin’ Oat Bran - I used to pour these in a heart-shaped Pound Puppy bowl and pretend I was eating dog food. Good taste, a little spicy; but they do soggy up quickly.
10. Froot Loops - Only really good for me when I want a serious sugar fix. But not demonically sweet, as far as kids cereals go, and they make a great snack when they're dry.
11. Product 19 - Taste a lot like Corn Flakes, but they stay crunchy longer. Also better in almond milk.
12. Corn Flakes - These actually taste better in almond milk than regular milk. See, they're very bland, but the almond milk gives them just a hint of sweetness. They're rank higher if you didn't have to eat them in the 20 seconds it takes them to turn to mush.
13. Special K Fruit and Yogurt - This one sort of let me down. I expected it to be better. Worked out for me, though, because my sister ate most of it, thinking nobody at our house ever ate much cereal. Heh!
14. Froot Loops Marshmallow - Better without the shmellows.
15. Eggo - Pretty tasty, but they smell better than they taste. When you open the box, it's like getting hit in the face with a fresh pancake. They smell that good. But while they taste pretty good, they tend to leave a sticky residue on the spoon. It feels a little weird against your lips.
16. All Bran Bran Buds - Kinda bland, but might be good in yogurt. Very crunchy, almost bordering on hurting my teeth.
17. Cocoa Krispies - I can't believe I've never made Cocoa Krispies treats. *flogs self*
18. Mueslix - Pretty soggy. I got the impression they’d do better in yogurt than milk.
19. Crispix - WOW, crispy air flavored!
20. All Bran Original - Mm, mm, cardboard. Tastes just like that FedEx box I had last Friday. I'm gonna try making muffins with these to avoid eating the rest of the box. Because hey. I can't tell if I'm eating the cereal or the box.
21. Cinnabon - Barely any cinnamon taste at all
22. Special K Protein Plus - Tasted like artificial sweetener, though it didn’t contain any.
23. Frosted Flakes - About the sugariest
24. Smorz - Taste like Frosted Flakes - - with marshmallows for extra sugar just in case you hadn’t gone into a coma yet.
25. Corn Pops - Just plain nasty

DRUM ROLL....

With that updated list, my friends.... I'm more than halfway done with Kellogg's cereals! *CONFETTI*

I originally copied down 49 cereals, so I've got 25 down, 24 to go. Small victories do count. I feel like I should have a celebratory mug of Gondor ale. Cause I'm still on a nerd high.
