Don't you love it when there's some random synchronicity that pops into your life? Lots of times, they're so vague that they really couldn't possibly mean anything, but it still makes you wonder if there's not some puppetmaster crossing a few strings just to see if you notice.

You know, that cosmic force that writes fortune cookie fortunes.

For instance, today in history, a horrible crime was committed in the 70s in California. One very non-pregnant woman killed a real pregnant woman and stole her unborn baby, tried to pass it off as her own to the hospital staff. Not surprisingly, it didn't work. Doctors are pretty good at little things like telling when a woman has given birth in the past few hours. The murderess' name? Norma.

It's also the day when Louis of France married perhaps the second most famous royal ever: Marie Antoinette. I went to dinner with my parents this weekend as a late Mother's Day celebration, and while we were eating, we were trying to think up ridiculously attractive movie stars from the past. I remembered there was this Marie Antoinette movie I saw once that was made in the 30s where this was Marie:
Hubba hubba.

I couldn't recall her name at the time, but I looked her up this morning - her name was Norma.

Bizaaaaarre. Norma's not exactly an everyday name. Vague, but a connection nonetheless.

Unrelated: I SAW NEWBORN BABY MICE LAST WEEK. Probably the cutest thing ever. They didn't even have all their hair yet! AND THEIR TEENY PINK FEET - GAH!! Made me want to curl up into fetal position and twitch. Too... much... cute!
