Looking for feedback on a website called Cool Cat Records [05 May 2008|03:13am]
Hello everyone!! I'm new here and I was referred here by a member of another LJ group I am in called lippy addictsAnyhow, I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience buying from a website called Cool Cat RecordsI was just wondering because I was interested in buying some stuff from them, but haven't ever heard anything about them before (niether good or bad) So I figured if somebody else could tell me about buyer experience with them it could either increase my confidence in buying from them....or warn me against doing so, whichever the case may be =DOkay, well any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated!!!Thanks!

Where to go shopping for goth/ alternative clothing [25 May 2007|04:54pm]
Now Camden has become full of mass produced boring stuff (including the few goth shops left - either over priced, mass produced, poor quality or all 3) can anyone recommend anywhere to shop? Preferably an area with multiple interesting shops. Almost all my clothes shopping is now done online because I can't find anywhere decent, but a shopping trip with friends would be fun. Any suggestions?

Gallery Serpentine [30 Oct 2006|12:22am]
[ **mood** | covetous ] I can't say enough good things about Gallery Serpentine. I have ordered from them twice and both times my order shipped quickly (taking into consideration they custom make each piece and it had to travel across the globe) and when my bank rejected the charges Annette was patient and extremely helpful in coming up with an alternate payment method for me. I have 2 of their corsets and the long pvc fishtail skirt and all are high quality, very comfortable and true to the measurements posted. Their standard sizes are very generous and they also do custom sizing. They aren't cheap but I think they are worth it- and at least in the US the exchange rate is in our favor, so that helps. Their victoriana is truly gorgeous and if I can at all afford it I'm going to splurge on some for convergence next year!

Any one know where I can get a good waist cincher/under bust corset for cheap? Or the cheapest place to get one anyway? I want it to be some what effective (somewhat boned) or at least is good doing the job of making the illusion of the waist being fitted. I hate the pudge in my stomach but I never have time to work out! :( lol, so I was wanting to look good for Halloween, haha...Also does anyone know how I can make my own glitter spray/gel? I have tons of loose glitter, but they never stick or stay on my skin with using lotion... seems to flake off after a while. Scented sprays would be awesome as well... at least someone can suggest something already made? Planning to use the glitter for my hair and body...Also does anyone know what's some good fake eyelash adhesive? It seems like the one that comes in the packaging at Walmart is pretty crappy for me... and I can't get them to go on.. haha.

Int'l sellers [02 Sep 2006|12:19am]
Hey guys. I need some suggestions.I've lived outside of the US for about a year now and I desperately need to do some online shopping. I'm thinking I need some new cute mary janes and cardigans for the winter. Does anyone know of any reasonably priced websites/reliable int'l sellers on Ebay?I don't mind if the company is based outside of the US, in fact I prefer it due to shipping charges.Oh and I live in Israel if that matters.

This isn't a question about a specific vendor, but a request for recommendations. I would like a pair of black Mary Jane style shoes with buckle strap and platform- not too high a heel. Can anyone recommend a place to find these shoes that are good quality? I have ordered from someplace called Wyld Side (I think that was the name) and have had 2 pairs of demonia MJ's and the buckles always break- and fast. Any advice? Thanks!

www.katesclothing.bizI can't recommend these lovely people enough. Friendly, helpful, answer questions in a useful way and I couldn't believe it when I ordered a skirt on Friday afternoon and it arrived on Saturday. Their stuff is also really high qualityParticularly recommended is their own brand stuff
