Currently The only manga I'm reading is "Tramps Like Us" or As I prefer to call it Kimi wa petto . I've reached till Vol. 11 & I can't wait till Vol 12 to be releases (>*<) ( on May 29 SOOOOON <3 )I would love to read manga like that style, "for older women " like Nana etcso any recommendations~?

Hello i was wondering if anyone knew a place where i could purchase The July Issues of SHojo Beat. I started my subscription again in August and didn't look for the July one at the time because last year when i subscribed, even though i already had bought the 1st 2 mangas they sent me those ones in the mail starting my subscription at the 1st manga. Hello i was wondering if anyone knew a place where i could purchase The July Issues of SHojo Beat. Oh god I dont remember when was the last time I joined this community O_O Hontou ni gomen nasai * Bow * I hope we can refresh the community and discuss our passion in shoujo manga or manga in general (^_^)vI didn't read new manga in this past few months since I was pretty busy with my personal life XD but I'm still super addicited to Ai Yazawa's master piece "NANA" I'm so addicted to this Manga & cant wait for the second Movie XD <--- unrelavent but I want to say it :PThe other manga that I'm still reading are :Hot Gimmick Vol 11 (one more Vol and it will end )Tramps like us ( still amazing manga I wanna read Vol 10 ASAP ) H3 recently I've read Vol 5 ( it was funny in the beginnig but the last Vol was kinda boring ) sorry rie takada you know I love ur manga that for sureAnd I have other manga I bought but I dont have the time to read them plus they aren't that excited such as othello , wallflower, and many more...I want to read new exciting manga but dunno what @_@; maybe I'll try reading other than shoujo O_O; I want to continue reading Basara its pretty amazing manga !Thats it for now ....talk to you guys later Ja matta

Oh god I dont remember when was the last time I joined this community O_O Hontou ni gomen nasai * Bow * I hope we can refresh the community and discuss our passion in shoujo manga or manga in general (^_^)vI didn't read new manga in this past few months since I was pretty busy with my personal life XD but I'm still super addicited to Ai Yazawa's master piece "NANA" I'm so addicted to this Manga & cant wait for the second Movie XD <--- unrelavent but I want to say it :PThe other manga that I'm still reading are :Hot Gimmick Vol 11 (one more Vol and it will end )Tramps like us ( still amazing manga I wanna read Vol 10 ASAP ) H3 recently I've read Vol 5 ( it was funny in the beginnig but the last Vol was kinda boring ) sorry rie takada you know I love ur manga that for sureAnd I have other manga I bought but I dont have the time to read them plus they aren't that excited such as othello , wallflower, and many more...I want to read new exciting manga but dunno what @_@; maybe I'll try reading other than shoujo O_O; I want to continue reading Basara its pretty amazing manga !Thats it for now ....talk to you guys later Ja matta

So i'm working on writing a shojo manga. Who knows if i'll ever finish it or do anything with it, i hope i do though! I have several ideas for the ending but i don't want it to suck and be disappointing to the readers.The main character in this story is a tomboy like character who has never dated. In the story she is sort of pressured by her only femae friends to get a boyfriend. The story takes a place over a span of her junior year in high school ending at her prom. Over the course of the story she is dates 2-3 guys and there is 1 that she is always after until the end when she realizes she was never really in love with him. I don't wanna give away the plot of the story but just in general which ending do you think people would love or hate, or do you think any would do be fine.Here are the three ending i am debating over:1. Omigosh it was a great shipment for shoujo but so bad for my wallet... yeek. New shoujo in this week at Waldenbooks:Angel Sanctuary 11, Boys Over Flowers 15, Crimson Hero 1, Full Moon 4, Hana-Kimi 9, Happy Hustle High 4, Hot Gimmick 10, Kare First Love 6, Kare Kano 18, Nana 1, Sensual Phrase 11... I have a big pile by my bed. Luckily I have all weekend, woohoo!

New shoujo in bookstores this week:Angel Sanctuary 10Basara 14Boys Over Flowers 14Doubt!! 4Fushigi Yugi 16MeruPuri 2Tokyo Boys & Girls 2Viz has Sensual Phrase 10, Hana Kimi 8, and Full Moon 3 listed as in-stock, so hopefully those will arrive next week. :) With the second volume out of Tokyo Boys & Girls, I finally gave it a try. I like Hot Gimmick -- it's the same mangaka -- but I was worried that the stories might be too similar. The back blurb for TB&G volume 1 sort of indicated a reverse situation. I'm happy to discover that's not the case, and it's now occupying my shelf as the first "T" book in my collection. Heh. Putting it there made me notice, and means I am only missing English-translated manga starting with the letters E and Z. I feel a silly urge to go buy Eerie Queerie and Zodiac P.I. just to fill the gaps.Aside from that random note, I totally should have said something about this before but didn't think to... this coming weekend, October 8-10, there's going to be a shoujo anime convention in New Jersey. It's called Onna!, and is a celebration of women in anime and manga. If anyone's in the vicinity, it should be really neat. I'll be staffing registration and wherever else they put me after that closes. :>

I got bored tonight and reread the first 3 volumes I have of it, and got to 3 and noticed how it said that volume 4 would be released in September but on the Tokyopop site it's been pushed back to December? I can't find out much info about this series but I was wondering if anyone else new anything? Another Random Entry about X-Day	[09 Sep 2005\|05:20pm]

I'm pretty sure it's purposely there to provide the reader with whichever they may think. Like if you were reading thinking they'd probably go through with the plan then that ending maybe felt as though they did, but then again... ::sigh:: But anyways, WHAT IS UP WITH THE SHORT STORY AT THE END!? Is it just me or did anyone else feel like becoming a vegetarian after reading. I think I'm highly too sensitive since I felt myself going 'awwwwww'. I mean I was reading the story and was confused in the beginning because (oh wait, possible spoiler alert) here's this small/young boy getting upset that his father is about to be eaten, now here's the punch, they were HUMAN or at least they looked close to being human minus the huge bell around their neck and their ears which kinda curved out like an elvish ear but rotated. So apparently you learn that these are cows which have had their genes spliced w/ human dna since cows were all killed during this black plague (I think, I forget how they explained what happened to them)... And of all things, the title of the story is called "The LAST Supper" ::shakes head::Has anyone else read X-Day and that particular story as well?

[ mood \| pissed off ] I'm one of the people who simply HATE side stories in the original manga. I'm talk'n about when you were in a middle of a huge event and you just bought this new manga then out of no where in the middle of the book at the end of the page they write "Continue in the Xvolume !" WHAT THE HECK !!! I'm still in the middle of the book !! then they turn out that the rest of pages are simply side stories from totally different Manga O__o I JUST HATE IT !!!Reason for being Anti-Side stories ?1. I'm a kind of person who adore reading long volumes, I prefer 10 volumes and above. so when I read a side story that going to end in one chapter I usually dont get excited at all !! and since I'm reading Shoujo Manga then I know what going to happen in the end >_<;; I wonder if shounen manga also has side stories ~?2. sometimes you wait despretly for the volume to get releasedm and your totally hyper and excited that you finally have it and then you realize that its also include a side story !! like a normal manga pages would make me satisfied T__T3. I dont mind side stories but about the same manga, like flash back like what happened in Hot Gimmick Vol8 when we read about their childhood history, even though I prefer no side stories at all, but atleast this case is much better than reading totally new story for just one chapter O_o;;Okay sorry I've talked too much, but I just read Kare Kano Vol 8 and their was this side story so it kinda pisses me off xD

pissed off ] I'm one of the people who simply HATE side stories in the original manga. I'm talk'n about when you were in a middle of a huge event and you just bought this new manga then out of no where in the middle of the book at the end of the page they write "Continue in the Xvolume !" WHAT THE HECK !!! I'm still in the middle of the book !! then they turn out that the rest of pages are simply side stories from totally different Manga O__o I JUST HATE IT !!!Reason for being Anti-Side stories ?1. Guess what guess what !!I bought new laptop !! Whoppieeeeeee ( Bai Bai $ )its my first personal laptop that I have * No More beging xD * Its Dell Silverish * Kawaii Desu~ And I named Him "Akuma" which means " Devil" Nihahahah xDThe problem is its empty O_O; No MSN, NO Desktop, Pix , Songs T____T;; I Have to redownload everything ! Sigh I know this topic is out of Shoujo Manga theme Gomen ne * but I wanna share the happiness with you guys +^_^+

Missed talk'n to you guys How have you been ?~ Okay probably you dont know, But I've just got back from London stayed for couple of weeks for my summer vacation IT WAS AWESOME !!! DAAAISUKI DESUUUUU You wanna know why ...? Simply because they sell manga EVERY WHERE O___o ( SHOCKED FROM HAPPINESS ) In my country they dont sell manga thats why I dont have other option than ordering via internet. But when I enter Manga Store I felt like am in paradise for sure xD When I saw all the otaku @__@; Woooow my Addicted friends XD I felt like I'm inside "Genshiken" if you read the manga you will understand what I felt :P Okie its true they have zillion of MANGA shelfs, but they do have problems>__<;; Most of the series that I really wanna read are out of volume one !! Missed talk'n to you guys How have you been ?~ Okay probably you dont know, But I've just got back from London stayed for couple of weeks for my summer vacation IT WAS AWESOME !!! *DAAAISUKI DESUUUUU* You wanna know why ...? Simply because they sell manga EVERY WHERE O___o ( SHOCKED FROM HAPPINESS ) In my country they dont sell manga thats why I dont have other option than ordering via internet. But when I enter Manga Store I felt like am in paradise for sure xD When I saw all the otaku @__@; Woooow my Addicted friends XD I felt like I'm inside "Genshiken" if you read the manga you will understand what I felt :P Okie its true they have zillion of MANGA shelfs, but they do have problems>__<;; Most of the series that I really wanna read are out of volume one !! DOOOOOOSHITE?~~ *SNiff Sniff * And it takes time for the volume to arrive from USA to England >__<;;; these 2 points the internet is much better~ Anyway, I bought lots of manga ( Bai Bai Money-sama T__T ) lets see, Hands off Volume 1 & 2 Demon Dairy Volume 1 & 2Immortal Rain 1-3 <--- I'm ganna read it and tell ya de311 about it :P The devil do Exsit Vol 1&2Kare Kano Vol 8 & 9 Vampire Game Vol 8,9,10,12 <-- They are out of vol 11 T__TTenjho Tenge vol 1 <-- Why they change it from Tenjou Tenge <__<;;Happy Mania Vol 1 & 2Girl Got Game Vol0 ( Its OVER !!!! [ mood** \| chipper ] I randomly decided to prowl through links from my interests today... and I found this community. Yay! In any case, I'm a shoujo fan. I read a lot more manga than I watch anime. Probably because it's harder to watch anime in the bathtub, whereas I can take a stack of manga in there while I soak. I'm currently rereading Mars, which I first got hooked on when it was being published in Smile. I work part-time as the shipment receiver at a Waldenbooks, so I see the manga as it comes out of the boxes. Not good for the wallet, but it means I'm on top of new releases and am the "anime queen" of the store. A discount is a lovely thing.Current series being released that I grab as soon as I see them: Hana-Kimi, Fruits Basket, Hana Yori Dango, Hot Gimmick, Kare First Love, W Juliet, Prince of Tennis, One Piece, Ouran Host Club, Sensual Phrase, Full Moon, Meru Puri, Queen's Knight, GALS!, Tramps Like Us... and probably more but I'm running out steam on that. =) One of the other nice things about working in a bookstore is that I get the chance to check out some series I might not have bought right away, or I can hold off buying them but not lose track of the story. I do plan to get Basara at some point, because I love it, but I have the entire story in Japanese so have been waiting.I saw that some people posted pictures of their manga collections in earlier posts, so I have those to share, too. They're current as of a few weeks ago. I've added Shoujoai ni Bokuen (a serialized story that's only not-manga because the author can't draw a straight line with a ruler even though she tells an awesome story) and some backlog of Ranma 1/2 and Inuyasha (the old pretty versions).( Manga collection!Collapse )**
