What do you think of something like this (better, of course, this took me about ten minutes) as a new background/layout thinger for the Shy site?

We're redesigning (slowly) and we have an actual planned process now, but can't do anything, really, until after my finals. (about a month)

I'm going to work on a fanservicey picture for you guys this weekend (I am putting off a rather large assignment that is due tomorrow, but I don't really have time for much more than this entry), so that will be a sort-of update, but I figure it's fair to tell everyone we aren't dead and let you know what's going on.

1: We aren't dead. Srsly. I'm in school and that's pretty close but we aren't dead. I really want to work on page nine, I'm HOPING we can get something done over Thanksgiving break but knowing dP we'll have a project over that time, expect page nine at Christmas by latest. This summer the plan is to build up a backlog of comics so at the rate of one update a week, we might be able to continue updates during school even without drawing new pages. Oh, and every five pages (cover, 5, 10, 15, etc) will be in colour. :)
2: Ben got fired. I'll spare you messy details but that's how it is. It's a priority once we have time to get his stuff out of Shy, out of courtesy and just to make us more comfortable working on our story again.
3: In Ben's place, more or less, we have "hired" my roommate, Tom. He goes by "Shionyr" or "Luigi" online, and he will be helping with the d20 sourcebook we're working on, as well as doing all the backgrounds for the comic--he's a skilled artist and you'll notice the change right away. :)
4: Working on a new site design as you saw above. Shin is our Boo and sort of our mascot, so you will probably be seeing a lot of him.
5: It probably won't be until this summer but I've got the hang of 3D, finally. I'm going to figure out how to import meshes into The Sims 2 and make a full Shy set, because I think that's neat. I know a few people play, so...
6: Butt.

Just my plans (excluding step six), we'll see how it goes. :)
