it's funny, i started this community and then forgot about it. it seems the revival of the LJ community search has brought in a few people...(I got a chance to see Starsailor for a 4th time back in January - decent concert, though I still feel they need another guitarist for touring - James can't do it all by himself... Also I'm not a fan of the way they make the segue between the recorded version of 'Shark Food'... but I digress...)Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone out there has really had a chance to hear Franz Ferdinand's album... I've only been able to hear 'Take Me Out' so far, but I like it.

I'm listening to the new Aqualung album - Still Life and it's truly beautiful. Matt has a magical voice and the melodies with squishy harmonies really add depth to the material. yummy! :) hehe xxx

Starsailor - Silence Is Easy | [17 Aug 2003|08:36pm] |

y/n/m? yespoints of reference? coldplay - a rush of blood to the headdoves - the last broadcast**what should i know?**surpasses in every way their previous effort; some glorious wall-of-sound instrumentation throughout a varied tracklisting; james walsh is growing into his own - the lyrics sound years more mature than on 'love is here' and no longer does it sound as if he's worshipping at the altar of the buckleys.
