It is a dark comedy (If you're not familiar with dark comedy then check out movie such as "Snatch" "lock stock and 2 smoking barrells", or even "Pulp Fiction" would be similar)and Staten Island Based. I will be needing alot of actors and walk ons. The general plot is this:A drug dealer with a gambling problem pisses away 10,000heoweshisboss.Afteraskingformoretimeandforgivenessheistoldhehasthreedaystobringbackthemoneyorfacebeingkilled.Toensurethatthedrugdealerdoesn′tleavetownhehasoneofhislackiesfollowhim.Thedrugdealerthengoesoffinanattempttosellhisprivatestashtomakebacktheowedmoney.HeinteractswithseveralStatenIslandstereotypesandgetsinvolvedinascamtomake10,000 he owes his boss. After asking for more time and forgiveness he is told he has three days to bring back the money or face being killed. To ensure that the drug dealer doesn't leave town he has one of his lackies follow him. The drug dealer then goes off in an attempt to sell his private stash to make back the owed money. He interacts with several Staten Island stereotypes and gets involved in a scam to make 10,000heoweshisboss.Afteraskingformoretimeandforgivenessheistoldhehasthreedaystobringbackthemoneyorfacebeingkilled.Toensurethatthedrugdealerdoesn′tleavetownhehasoneofhislackiesfollowhim.Thedrugdealerthengoesoffinanattempttosellhisprivatestashtomakebacktheowedmoney.HeinteractswithseveralStatenIslandstereotypesandgetsinvolvedinascamtomake30,000 by stealing from his boss without getting caught. Nov. 9th, 2004 @ 01:45 pm (no subject)Hey rymey, miss you man, we gotta chill soon, frag up soem in Halo 2, and speaking of games, im throwin down a community bump, hopeyou dont mind, Chi! Joe here and he's decided to actually do something constructive!!One thing i noticed last night on the long wait for Halo 2, is that even in my small berg i call home, we have many many gamers willing to stand outside in the cold for three hours for a game. Another thing i noticed is that, due to the fact we are gamers, and never leave the house, we never get around to meeting eachother in real life or talking to anyone in general. I made more friends on that line than i have in any other line, and im kind of a connesieur of lines... So i have devised an online Call to Arms if you will. I have creates a New York Gamer only community. I was suprised to see it non-existant. I'm calling out to all gamers with LJ in the NY area, or even out of the NY area, just as long as they know we are NYC based. I will be writing reviews on games, previews on upcoming titles. We can establish Lan parties, tournaments, and just get the gaming community in NYC to becomejust that, a COMMUNITY! My one rule is its gaming specific, no real big posts about anything else. ifyou wanna talkpolitics, it needs a gaming twist, same with anything else. Sep. 5th, 2004 @ 12:01 pm (no subject)k the last response was simply amazing, so i'm gonna give it another shot.Game On NY - gaming convention, very first year. with the huge names sponsoring this event, it should be good. it's only 15 bucks too, so if anybody's interested in goin to this, i am and i think joe is too. there is also I-Games, but i think it's purely tournament.movie-wise, who wants to check out the new resident evil flick?lastly, the easiest option - diner? chinatown? had this been last week i would've suggested people-watching as i caught the beginnings of a riot at the great library on monday. got squashed though. poo. hey on that note, what's everyone's opinion on the protests and whatnot? i think they got in more trouble the first 2 days than the LAST day, when bush was actually HERE. figures.About this Entry rymel:2 commentsLeave a commentPermanent Link |

Jul. 26th, 2004 @ 10:02 pm (no subject)Hello people. I suppose I should introduce myself.I'm Sam(antha).. been on the Island all off my wonderful 18 years of life. I currently go to Cosmetology school (LIBS) in Manhattan.. so if anyone want to let me chop away their hair sometime that could be done. I went to St. John Villa(don't remind me) and CSI for a week, haha. I go to alot of shows/concerts, indie films, randomly making my own fun and having a good time with my boy and whoever else. Laughing is good. I write also.. just like everyone else under the sun.. and I like to paint. I can be a bit shy but after a few times with the same people I come out of my shell.I like all types of music. Favorites? The Cure(I'm seeing them on Saturday! Yay), Violent Femmes, Alkaline Trio(yes an emo band), Fountains of Wayne, The Unicorns, Bauhaus. Yeah yeah yeahs, Pink Floyd, Stellastarr.. and other such things.I love Saul Williams, listen to him. I like weird movies that make me think. I like Union Square park. I like art, philosophy, and psychology. I like lots of things. I'm very spontaneous and like doing anythign and everything. Except bukkakis. I had a bad experience heh kidding kidding.I'm also a writer, and if you ever read any of my stuff I come off extremely morbid and depressed. You'll find out otherwise when you meet me. I love reading and I plan to study psychology.
