Günümüzde Covid-19 gibi pandemik hastalıkların tüm dünyayı hızla etkilemesi ve buna bağlı tüm dün... more Günümüzde Covid-19 gibi pandemik hastalıkların tüm dünyayı hızla etkilemesi ve buna bağlı tüm dünyada yüzbinlerce kişinin hayatına mal olmuşken sağlık çalışanlarının dünya genelindeki özverili çalışmalarının önemi ortaya çıkmıştır. Çalışmada, sağlık çalışanlarının iş yükünün paylaşılması için süreç içerisinde destek elemanları olarak medikal yardımcı makineler üzerine inceleme yapılmıştır. Geliştirilen medikal yardımcı robotik kol, sağlık çalışanlarının iş yükünün paylaşılması açısından özellikle pandemi sürecinde son derece önem arz etmektedir. Geliştirilen robot kol açık kaynak ve de eklemlerinin model baz alınarak uyarlanabilir olması son derece önemli bir özelliktir. Robot kolun açık kaynak olması oluşabilecek telif haklarından kaynaklı sorunlarında giderilmesi açısından son derece önemlidir. Today, the epidemic diseases such as COVID-19 spreads very fast in the globalizing world and leth... more Today, the epidemic diseases such as COVID-19 spreads very fast in the globalizing world and lethal effects on human health have had a noticeable effect on the health sector. For this situations, various disciplines have had different studies to minimize the effects of the epidemic. In such cases, it is a separate requirement that the use of the opportunities brought by technology. In this study, the kinematic analysis of the open-source robot arm was especially examined in terms of reducing the workload of individuals working in the healthcare sector. The open-source robot arm is articulated and has 5 degrees of freedom. The kinematic analysis is very important for determination of the working space of the robotic systems. The inverse kinematic analysis was done with Python programming language and the control module was developed to check the analysis. Deep learning and machine learning applications give remarkable results in the detection, monitoring, diagnosis, and treatment of possible tumoral regions with the analysis of the obtained medical images and data mining. Studies to diagnose brain tumors are essential because of the wide variety of brain tumors, the importance of the patient's survival time, and the brain tumor's aggressive nature. Brain tumors are defined as a disease with destructive and lethal features. Detection of a brain tumor is an essential process because of the difficulty in distinguishing between abnormal and normal tissues. Today, it is especially estimated that robots will be more than 2 million between 2018-2021, with... more Today, it is especially estimated that robots will be more than 2 million between 2018-2021, with their increasing use in the industry, in the world. In the industrial environment, robots are used to neutralize toxic substances, explosives, or to replace certain repetitive tasks in the industry for human intervention. On the other hand, robotic systems are used in different areas such as office environment, military duties, and use in hospital environments. It is widespread the use of open-source design robot day by day, in addition to the increasing use of robots, which have invaluable effective uses in complex or dangerous processes. The use of open-source robotic systems is cheaper, developable, and has no usage restrictions due to copyright compared to equivalent robots used in the industry. For these reasons, in our study, a robotic arm with 5 degrees of freedom, printed with 3D printers at industrial scales, was developed. The printed robotic arm was developed to be used as an auxiliary equipment for hospital staff, especially in today's hospital environment. Kinematic analysis is required to determine the working space of the developed robotic arm. The working space of the robotic arm, which is intended to be used as auxiliary equipment in the hospital environment, was revealed by kinematic analysis.

The robotic systems that are accustomed to widespread use in the industry show huge impact in education, health, and many other areas nowadays. Robotic systems are no longer expensive and are not difficult to access systems that can be drawn and designed with design software like CAD programs. Within the scope of the study, major changes are made in the reference design, and Python software is used to send data to the Arduino control card that is used for control of the robotic system and to provide movement. The humanoid robotic arm developed in the study is printed with the 3D printer, sign languages that can be realized by one-handed letters among sign languages were investigated. All 26 alphabetical letters of English in American Sign Language can be demonstrated with the right hand alone.
