Our idea of a superhero has been crafted—molded since we were young. Just a click of the remote took a child to Superman, the very definition of the word. We saw him utilize his enhanced agility and strength to defeat the unethical schemes of Lex Luther, his arch-nemesis. When all was right, he ran to the shadows to become a common man named Clarke Kent. He then battled everyday evils, such as staplers, traffic jams, and the pain of unrequited love. Though he was portrayed as a civilian, he was never considered one. He was always alien to us, as most well-known superheroes are. It’s never an average man who's gone without a run-in with toxic fluids or bites from strange creatures who saves the day, but for these citizens that all changes...Weekend Warriors is an original gifted game devoted to well-crafted, diverse characters and story-telling. The game has a strong story-arch that is driven by staff with member input; it allows for player-made sub-plots to operate alongside the site-wide plot. We offer a laid-back community that is concerned first and foremost with entertaining plots. We have been in development for over a year and have been open for over three months. Mind-Blast.net is an RPG forum that caters for several different RPG Games at once. The idea of the forum is an emphasis on the roleplay itself rather than all the OOC bits and bobs. Members only need to apply to join the board itself rather than each individual game. Once their application has been approved they are free to join any game hosted here.It is then up to the members to create a character, post a character profile and following the rules of each game. There are no set timelines in the games, and members are catergorised 'Roleplay Grades' which show other members how many times they are able to post each week. This is so that RPers can roleplay at a pace that suits them with others that post at a similar pace. In other words; roleplay how you want to.This doesn't mean that there are no rules or guidelines here at Mind-Blast.net. The normal no powerplaying, god modding and other roleplaying ettiquette rules exist, and we maintain an intermediate to advanced level of writing. This means that Mind-Blast.net is not suitable for beginners. There will be a moderator per game to oversee the game, but otherwise the game is in the hands of the players themselves.Currently there are three active games at M-B.net and more will be added in the future. Members can petition to have a Game added to M-B.net at any time. One thing you will come to notice about the Games here; they always feature original characters. Even if a game is set in a fandom universe canon characters are not accepted.Dark Pretenses is an old game of mine that has reopened here on M-B.net. The Imperial Emperor has been trying to negotiate peace between the four Races for several years, and now it seems that he has succeeded. As a result of the peace treaties several betrothals have been agreed upon to try and unite the Races. Of course, not everyone agrees with the decisions made by their rulers, including the betrothed themselves.Azzaria is in a time of great change, join us as history is made when the Elves come face to face with the Imperial Lady set to change their lives forever. The Celtic Princess survived her trip to the Empire, but will the Celts be as welcoming to her betrothed?Recent RestartWe have just tidied up the game and restarted on a brand new chapter of the RPG. 'Souls is play-by-post roleplaying game in a post-apocalyptic world. Humans have long since extinguished themselves with a military virus, but the wildlife persists, grows even. The Canis family in particular seems to have adapted very well and garnered the ability to change into a superior, bipedal from, the Luperci. Some embrace this newfound gift, but others loathe it with passion, preferring their older, traditional lifestyle.Since 2001, 'Souls has provided an interesting and stimulating in character experience to roleplayers of all skill levels and ages. Our In Character environment provides an experience for both those wishing to roleplay normal wolves as well as those who wish to play a character beyond the average wolf. Our Out of Character environment is friendly and laid-back, with contests, games and other fun things for members to participate in. Discussions, debates, and questions are welcome and encouraged, and 'Souls is always looking to add new members to its ranks!'Souls has been a consistent and favorable roleplaying environment for all roleplayers. The general game rating is PG-13. More mature threads are welcomed though, as long as they are clearly marked. The administration is experienced and fair. The Canis family in particular seems to have adapted very well and garnered the ability to change into a superior, bipedal from, the Luperci. Some embrace this newfound gift, but others loathe it with passion, preferring their older, traditional lifestyle.Since 2001, 'Souls has provided an interesting and stimulating in character experience to roleplayers of all skill levels and ages. Our In Character environment provides an experience for both those wishing to roleplay normal wolves as well as those who wish to play a character beyond the average wolf. Our Out of Character environment is friendly and laid-back, with contests, games and other fun things for members to participate in. It has grown for thousands of years, to the point that the original feud has been labelled as a myth or long forgotten.The last great war was twenty years ago, and casualties were great on all sides. The Emperor Taron, ruler of the Imperials, grew up with ideas of peace and when he became Emperor he sought contact with the other races of Azzaria. It was a long and complex procedure, filled with frustration and after many years peaceful negotiations began.The result of those negotiations was an alliance between the races, starting with a marriage and trade deals. Emperor Taron's son has been betrothed to the daughter of the King and Queen of the Celts. The Emperor is also in talks with the Elves to discuss a possible marriage between his niece, and one of the Elven princes. Both marriages have been met with a mixture of distrust, happiness, relief and suspicion on all sides. There are those who remember the last war, and some look forward to peace, while others hold onto old grudges and past sins.Azzaria is in a time of great change.
