We Shot The Moon是由唱作人Jonathan Jones创立的独立流行摇滚乐队，来自于加州圣地亚哥。
2012年8月14日，乐队发行了他们的第三张专辑“Love And Fear”，这张专辑的诞生过程十分有趣，他们并没有用传统的方式依靠一个厂牌的支持，而是通过一个在著名项目融资网站kickstarter上的项目而完成，也就是说完全通过乐队粉丝的集资支持完成了这张专辑。这样的创新模式应该可以给许多独立乐队一些启发，让他们也换一种方式来发行专辑。
“Love And Fear”这张专辑由Jonathan与Sherwood乐队的an Koch共同创作完成。他们很好的混合了电子乐与传统摇滚乐乐器的效果，为We Shot The Moon的歌曲加入了一些新鲜的声音。
在过去的两年里，乐队在大大小小的场地做了400场演出，包括咖啡店，户外演唱会，俱乐部，大型剧院等等。也曾与许多优秀的乐队同台过，例如The Fray, Jacks Mannequin, Augustana, Plain White Ts, 3OH!3, One Republic等等。乐队很乐于到世界各地演出，让更多国家和民族的朋友听到他们的音乐，相信很快我们就能在中国的舞台上看到他们的身影。

We Shot The Moon are an indie pop rock band fronted by singer/songwriter Jonathan Jones. Their third full length album: "Love And Fear" was released on August 14th, 2012. The album was 100% funded by Jonathans fan base using a kickstarter project, and will be the bands first release seeing production without a record label.
'Love And Fear' was co written by Jonathan and Dan Koch (of Sherwood), using a mix of electronic and traditional rock instruments they derived a fresh new sound for We Shot The Moon.
We Shot The Moon have played more than 400 shows in the past two years, ranging from intimate acoustic coffee houses, noon time outdoor concerts, clubs, and large theaters. They have shared the stage with The Fray, Jacks Mannequin, Augustana, Plain White Ts, 3OH!3, One Republic, and more..
