Please make note of the earliest dates (or day #s) on which you think they should happen.
1. Jack is hired by Iunik, arrives at Iunik's facility (Mar 5, 2001, Day 0)
2. Jack meets his team
3. The team decides what needs to be done for the first model
4. Construction of the first model is begun
5. The first drive model is tested (straight section and incline)
6. Construction of the second model is begun
7. The second model is tested (three curves)
8. Construction of the third model is begun
9. The third model is tested (pseudo-figure eight)
10. Construction of the fourth model is begun
11. The fourth model is tested (simulated network)
12. An error in the code is fixed
13. Iunik holds a presentation on the progress of the project for potential investors

I'm writing a scene that takes place in August of 2001 (I asked recently what you remembered from this time), and I figure the conversation at dinner would turn to things in the news. Please tell me what you remember about the following items, particularly if you remember discussing them in 2001. I want to know what you remember, so please don't look anything up before commenting.

What events do you remember from the first half of the year 2001? What kinds of things were you talking about with your friends, relatives, or co-workers in August 2001? I'm particularly interested in things you remember from the latter part of August.
