I knocked on the appropriate door. Or, what I hoped was the appropriate one..With no response as yet, I sat there in the cold and waited..A face came to the door, one I recognized."Rupert, is it your custom to allow your Slayer to let Vampires go free? Especially blonde ones?"((Open for Giles))

Buffy knocked on Dawn's bedroom door to get her up for school. The teen was out like a light. She gave Dawn a gentle shake. "Come on, Dawnie, you have to get up or you'll be late!"*tag Dawn*

Out for a Walk. Not Stalking nobody. // Homeward Bound [Nov. 30th, 2004|03:20 am]Slay Me - A Buffy RPG
Bleedin' tosser, Spike snarked inwardly, stalking angrily through the dark, aimlessly. Well, aimlessly in the direction of the Summers' residence. He was so wrapped up in his annoyed thoughts that he didn't notice the youngest Summers' girl until she was nearly at his side. "You're gonna get yourself killed, sneaking up on people like that, bit."Dawn smiled profusely at that. "Oh please. I so coulda staked you.""Yeah?" He didn't pause in his step, giving her the once over. "With the stakes tucked away all nice 'n neat in your bag, there?" Really, he thought she knew better by now. "Weapons out of reach aren't weapons at all."She responded with an exaggerated eye roll. "I don't need a weapon, I have my own scary vamp to take care of me," Dawn chirped easily, ignoring Spike's deepening frown."Right. And why exactly are you out here alone, pet?""Um, I wasn't alone, Spike. Faith was with me," she explained. Liar, liar, pants on fire. "When I saw you, I told her she could take off home. You guys would set off each others spidey senses." Okay. So, that entirely false. She hadn't seen the dark haired slayer since their talk with Ethan the other night. She'd sensed Faith might need a little alone-time to think about Ethan's invitation. And since very little in Sunnydale could harm her while she was under the Maeroriphage's protection, Dawn wasn't too worried about running around on her own.Spike nodded, not doubting the kid for a second. But... "Slayer know you're out and about?""Buffy?" Dawn pursed her lips. "No. She and Faith... not really the best of friends, you know? She let Faith take me to the Bronze a while back, but I could tell the whole thing made her jumpy. And grumpy. So what she don't know, won't hurt her.""Besides," Dawn added, lying easily now, "I'm not the only one keeping secrets. Her Royal Slayerness has plenty of her own.""Yeah? Like what?" Spike was grinning now. Nothing lifted his mood like a potential round of Slayer-bashing, even if it was strictly verbal."Angel."Spike's grin disappeared quickly, as his mood plummeted again. "We all know the Magnificent Poofter is in town, Niblet. Not a secret no more."Dawn widened her eyes theatrically. "No! I mean, he was in the house the other night." At Spike's disbelieving look, she continued. "ALL night, Spike. I peeked in her room after I snu- um... after I woke up for a snack. And they were in bed together." She shivered, and seeing the house up in the distance, lowered her voice a little more. "I mean, like... what if they... you know. What if he's evil again? He's been invited into the house, he could kill us in our sleep. I swear to God, Buffy doesn't even think."Despite the wave of bitter jealousy rising up inside of him, Spike tried to think of something reassuring to say -- not an easy task for an evil vampire. While he doubted his broody sire would do something so irresponsible and lose his soul again, he obviously still spent the night. Spike was, well, jealous. As hell. "Er..."Sighing quietly as they reached the house, Dawn shot the blond vampire a sad smile. "I know. They probably just cuddled all night, or something sappy like that. But still. Buffy knows how I feel about Angel. He gives me the wiggins. And she still-" Dawn bit her lip, trailing off.He smiled sympathetically, helping Dawn up a convenient tree by her bedroom window. "Your sister does love you, bit. Never doubt that," he assured her quietly, and only because nobody was around to hear the Big Bad say something so poncy.Blinking away sudden tears, Dawn slipped through her window and lowered the glass plane, wiggling her fingers in a wave before drawing the curtains shut. It wasn't true. Buffy didn't care about her at all. None of them really did. That's why she was helping Ethan. They deserved to pay. They did. She wasn't doing anything wrong.... so why did she feel so guilty? Shuffling into her pajamas, she buried herself under her covers and waited for sleep to come.Outside, Spike made his way to the other side of the house, and stared up into Buffy's darkened window. Unlife was so bloody unfair. Damn Angel to Hell!Oh wait. Already did that, Spike allowed himself to smirk.Cigarette in hand, he inhaled deeply as he lit up. Wait. Wha- was that Harm's perfume he was smelling? He sniffed the air, flicking the newly lit smoke away. Yeah. She's obviously been by recently. Oh, effin hell. ((Dawn's asleep, but Spike's open))

[**Current Mood** |confusedconfused]Harmony sighed, leaning against a wall near the Bronze, thinking of going in, but not sure she should. She was fairly annoyed at the population of Sunnydale in general, and despite the fact the Bronze was still a cool place to be, she was still annoyed. With a sigh, she slumped against the wall a bit more.Willow looked around, feeling disoriented. She was sure she was still in Sunnydale, but something didn't *feel* right. Shaking her head, she headed for the Bronze. She'd find out what was going on there.Harmony had finally decided to go in when she looked up and saw...Willow? Willow...skanked out in -leather-? What? She blinked a bit before realizing that this wasn't Willow the way she knew her, this was a fellow vampire, somehow. Smirking a bit, she pushed off the wall, moving in the direction of Willow. "Willow? Oh my god, digging the threads."She glanced at the pretty blonde girl who was being so friendly to her, vaguely recognizing her. "Thanks," she said absently, still trying to figure out what felt so wrong about the town."I know you, don't I?"Harmony smirked. "Hell-o, Willow. I'm Harmony. We went to school together for, like, ever?" She paused, and then laughed, "Has Buffy seen this? Does she even know?"Willow winced as she realized where she was. "I'm back in the stupid world again," she muttered before turning to Harmony and smiling sweetly."Harmony, of course. No, Buffy doesn't know. It's... a surprise."Harmony blinked once, twice, and then smiled again. "Oh, I'm sure she'll love it. Especially with her being so weak and distracted these days.""Distracted?" she asked curiously. Maybe this would be her chance to get the slayer."Well, you know, with her mother up and dying on her and all." Harmony shrugged. "I very nearly got her myself the other night, all on my own." And ok, that was a bit of a lie, but it wasn't a big one...really...Willow nodded thoughfully. If the Slayer was off her game, maybe she could get her."Do you know where she is? I'm looking for her. Maybe you could come with."Harmony brightened. "At her house, as far as I know." She paused. "Do you have a plan?"She thought for a moment before answering. "I think we could manage a plan. Wanna help?"At that, Harmony broke into a toothy grin. "To off the Slayer? You'd better believe I'm in. This town could use a bit of action."Willow smirked at the blonde, thinking quickly. "In that case, let's go."Harmony was almost dancing. -This- was more like it! Life was going to be a -whole- lot more interesting, oh yeah.Willow headed off in the direction she thought Buffy's house was in... being that the Slayer didn't exist in her universe, it was a little difficult, but she hoped that the authoritativeness would impress Harmony. Minions were always good, and she'd rather not scare her until she had to.Harmony followed for several blocks before she caught on. She doesn't know where she's going...This...Harmony's face flittered from confused to amused. This was -not- Willow. This was...a Willow who was a vampire, who didn't have any idea where the idiot Slayer lived. She couldn't explain it, but this was -promising-. Lightly, she finally spoke up. "You know, I think I know a short cut. Should bring us right into Buff-idiot's back yard."Willow shrugged. "Okay, lead the way."Harmony innocently moved them a block over, and then backtracked a bit, cutting across a yard or two before bringing them straight into the Slayer's back yard. "Here we go."She walked up onto the back porch, peering through the kitchen door. There was a light on in the living room, from what she could see. Out of curiosity, she tried the door.. she knew it would always be open to her human counterpart, and wondered if that counted as an inivitation.Harmony waited, arms crossed, wondering if this Willow could get into the house. She turned the doorknob, but it was locked... not even a chance to try out her theory. Willow swore under her breath before turning back to Harmony."Can't get in," she said, a pout on her face.Harmony sighed. "Well, time for a plan B." She paused, "We have time for a plan B, right? Like, time to make a plan B. Only, since plan A didn't work, leaving and making a plan B would make it the new plan A, right?"Willow blinked for a second, taking in Harmony's words before attmepting to reply."New plan. Right. We'll do that."Harmony nodded, as if that made total and sage sense. "New plan A. I dig. Lets go. Do you...have a place to crash?"The redhead shrugged. "I'm... confused. This is Sunnydale, but it's not my Sunnydale. I don't know where to go."Harmony nodded. "Ok, yeah. I figured that out myself. Come with me. I found a really nice crypt near the edge of town." She smiled, "I even have a few minions.""Thanks... you have minions? Do you hurt them?" she asked curiously(to be continued.... Harm? Wanna play?)

It's very strange what's been going on with people in Sunnydale. It seems like something is hanging in the air. Like some sort of cloud of despair and shame.I hope it passes, as my relationship with Willow may be affected.I don't want it to be, of course, but I've got a feeling it will.I'm saddened, but at the same time, the end to the proverbial rainbow may be in sight...I heard Buffy put in an application the other day. Which is good. I'll "push" (however much I can!) for her to get the job. I think business may do some good with her as a stock clerk. Neither Anya nor I can lift the high places with heavy boxes. I have to use magick to a degree, hence why all the merchandise is on the lower shelves. And she has a bright smile, which will help business all the more. And, getting her out of the house may do her some good, also.Oh, I do hope Buffy gets the job!*hopes, but uses NO magickal interference.*Blessings to all,-Tara

[**Current Mood** |nauseatednauseated]I had just gotten ready for bed when the phone rang. I quickly answered it so it wouldn't wake up Dawn. "Hello?""Wow, you sound like crap. What are you taking for your voice? Because you know zinc...wait, no." I giggle, "This is your death calling, letting you know I -can- call." And I let my fingers rest on the button to turn the phone off."Who the hell is this?" I ask. Angel walked slowly around to the front of the Summer's house, careful to keep himself hidden amoung the bushes. He watched Buffy on the phone, carefully and attentivly listening.I click closed my fancy cellphone and stand a bit, looking up at the Slayer's bedroom. Now, getting up there would be a bit tricky in my heels, but I could do it. I head for the nearest tree, and begin to climb.I smirk at Harm's pathetic attempt. Watching Harmony climb a tree was more then enough entertainment. He turned his attention back to his Slayer...no not His slayer, she was not his anymore. He watched Buff, and kept watch on Harmony.I hung up the phone and turned quickly to face my window. I hear something outside and, grabbing a stake, I cautiously opened it. I saw someone with blonde hair climbing the tree. After getting a foot up, I scramble up halfway up the tree, and reach for another branch. I have to be quiet. Buffy won't think I'm outside if I'm quiet, right? No, it'll be all paranoia....right?Angel watched both blondes with an amsued grin on his face. Buffy is adorable. Harmony is well....Harm..literally.I realize who it is and lean up against the window sill, rolling my eyes. "Harm, if you wanted to see me, you could have tried the door."My head snaps up, and I can't help but growl. "So if you knew it was me, you could have come down, and I wouldn't have ruined this skirt."I sigh. My head is still pounding, but I have to deal with this first. There was no way in hell I was inviting little Miss Blondie Vamp into my house. I jump down to the ground, shaking off the wave of a wave of dizziness. Angel moved slowly, almost stalkerish towards the confrentaion, watching, listening, and noting everything.I smirk a bit. "Hurt? Aww, are you dizzy?" Yeah, I knew about earlier. I may not know everything, but I heard the doing of the underworld. And the Slayer being off the job was the cause of my even being here."What do you want, Harmony. Some people around here need sleep," I snapped.Angel noticed her dizziness and smelled the dried blood on her *sniff* head? That's not good, he inched towards the two, making sure only to show himself if Buff needed me."I'm here to kill you. Like, duh?" I slip into what I'm sure is a fighting stance.I laugh and shake my head at her stance. "What are you going to do, pee on me?" I ask. Okay, quick note to self: Never shake your head after a head injury. I nearly toppled onto the ground.Yet again, Angel inched forward, taking note of Buffy's wavering body.Oh my god. It sort of worked? "Your blood's going to make me stronger." And I launched a punch at her, aiming at her face.Angel jump in, grabbing Harmony's arms back, so she has no mobility in the whatsoever.I squeezed my eyes shut, waiting for the blow, but it never came. I realized that I was on my knees and looked up to see Angel holding Harmony's arms behind her back.I squeak at the sudden immobility. "What the -hell-?" Turning as much as I can I see a face that's familiar and stare.Angel looked at Buffy with no expression, completely ignoring Harm. "Hey Buffy."I smile warily. "Hey. Nice timing."Angel half smirked. "I thought so too."I try to stamp on his foot. "Ok, how about -me-?? I'm here for a purpose!"Angel rolled his eyes. "Your purpose is to shop."I give the Vamp Wit a Soul a glare, "Shopping is important!""Right," I said, getting up. I can feel Angel's eyes on me. "I'm sure you're not here to shop, Harmony. What gives?""Yes, so why don't you go shop for spring clothing that will let you have a nice tan." I fake a smile and drop her in front of me."Yeah," I added. "Go tomorrow afternoon."Angel looked at buffy, and smile again...she's changed so much, yet she's still the same."Go home Harm. You know you don't want to fight both of us."Not that I'm much good at the moment, I thought to myself. God, I think the spell Willow did must have been a temporary thing cause my head is killing me!I glared. And ok, no, I didn't want to take them both on. "This is just the beginning. Be -warned-." And I turned and gracefully ran.Angel watched her emotionless and she ran and looked at Buffy. I could feel my legs getting weaker. "Angel..."Angel rushed over and caught her right before she fainted. I saw this coming," he muttered as he quietly carried her back into her house. He gently laid her in bed. Kissing her forehead, he stayed with her until just before the sun rose.

Buffy and Willow's Adventure in Patrolling [Sep. 26th, 2004|10:10 am]Slay Me - A Buffy RPG
[**Current Mood** |soresore]((Kimi, I decided to post this now, I hope you don't mind))It was patrol time, and Buffy'd asked me to come with. I haven't been out slaying in a while, so I said yes, knowing Tara had to study tonight anyway. We walked into the graveyard and everything looked quiet. Of course, that never means anything.I glanced over at Willow and smiled. It wasn't one of those 'I'm doing great, how are you smiles', it was 'I'm not all that great and wish I was someone else smiles', but it would do for now. It's been three weeks since... since Mom died and it's been hard on everyone, including my friends. Dawnie and I can't seem to talk without getting into a huge fight. I think I should have taken them all up on their offers and let them do the slaying for awhile. I haven't seemed to be able to be able to concentrate all that well lately..."Buffy? Are you okay?" Something seemed off, and as official best friend, it was my job to find out what, besides the obvious. "Are you sure you want to be out? I could call Xander, and we could cover patrol tonight if you want...""No, it's okay, Will," I replied. "I'm just a little tired. Oh, and I've been thinking about that fight I had with Dawnie earlier today." "You guys have been fighting a lot lately. Is there anything I can do? I mean, Dawnie likes hanging out with Tara and I... maybe we could have her over for a couple of days? Give you guys a break?"I sighed. As much as I'd like that, I don't know what it would solve. Dawn would probably think I was trying to get rid of her. "Maybe. I guess you could ask her and see if she's interested. I don't really want be the one, ya know?"I nodded. "I'll talk to her. If she wants to, she's welcome." I looked around, not trusting the vamps not to sneak up on us. Heck, that was usually their game plan. Sneak up on Slayer and company when they're not looking. I noticed that Willow was looking around for vamps. Hmm... I guess I should be doing that, huh? As they looked, a hand made its way out of the ground and grabbed Willow's ankle, causing her to scream. My heart leapt into my throat, but I was able to kick the vamp's hand away from Will. I pulled him out of the grave and kicked him in the stomach.I watched Buffy, unsure what to do, but there wasn't much for me to do. The vamp staggered back, then headed back with renewed force. "Buffy! Watch out!" I cried stupidly. You know what, I'm glad Will is here with me because I completely let my guard down and the vamp slammed right into me. As I hit the ground, I could feel my head smack on the former human's tombstone. The last thing I remember seeing were stars...Buffy was out cold, and I had to stake the vamp. It's not like I haven't done it before, but I was still scared. If I screwed up, we were both toast. "Hey there! Wanna play?" I shouted at the vamp, hoping I sounded more confident than I felt. The vamp sneered at her and got up. He knew the Slayer would be out for a bit so he could have her for dessert. "So you want to play, little girl?" he asked. "Let's see what ya got."I held the stake in my hand, on the edge of panic. Then I had an idea. I raised my hands toward him, shouting "Incendere!" With any luck, I could burst him into flames without even touching him. The vamp's eyes widened in shock and screamed in raged as it was burnt to ashes.Wow. That's the first time I ever tried that, but... gotta remember that one! Next problem: how to wake Buffy. I walked over to her, nudging her gently. "Buffy?" I could hear a small voice saying my name, but my head was hurting so bad that I couldn't say anything. God, I feel like I'm gonna be sick. I realize who's with me. "Will...?""Yeah, it's me. You hit your head kinda hard...," I said, kneeling by her side. "Don't worry, I dusted the vamp that did it, so we're safe for the moment, but I think we'd better get you home."I slowly sat up with her help, squeezing my eyes shut as a wave a dizziness passed over. "I feel like someone's hammering my brain," I muttered."It's gonna be okay - just lean back against the headstone." Hoping my magick could withstand my using it so much in such a short amount of time, I put my hands on either side of her head and muttered a healing spell under my breath."Feel any better?" I asked hopefullyI nodded. "Yeah, but to be honest, and don't take this the wrong way, not 100%.""As long as you can move, I'm happy. I'm not used to trying to do a lot at one time."I nodded slowly and we headed home. My bed sounded like a really good thing right now.
