Daughter of Alfred and Sarah (Gilbert) White of West Brookfield Mass. Wife of Rev. Asa B. Smith. Rev. and Mrs. Smith were pioneer Oregon missionaries to the Indians, under appointment of American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions.
