Joshua Bryan Lee was a rancher and a professor of public speaking at the University of Oklahoma before his election as a Democrat from Oklahoma to the House of Representatives, 74th Congress (1935-1937), and to the Senate, 1937-1943. He served as a member of the Civil Aeronautics Board 1943-1955.
