Charles F. Kindred was a Republican Party politician of Philadelphia, where he was "ward boss" of the 29th Ward during the 1890s, as well as a member of the Republican State Committee for the year 1897-1898. He was also president of the Philadelphia Times newpaper between 1899 and 1902.
