Abstract

USIA black and white 35mm proof sheets and negatives of the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago and the 1968 Republican National Convention in Miami. Photographs include the Democratic Convention showing Hubert Humphrey, Edmund Muskie, Eugene McCarthy, Carl Stokes, Ralph Abernathy, Daniel Inouye, unidentified delegates and various foreign ambassadors. The proof sheets and negatives for the Republican Convention show Richard Nixon, Spiro Agnew, Nelson Rockefeller, Barry Goldwater, John Lindsay, Edward Brooke, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, unidentified delegates, and various foreign ambassadors. There are no photos of the riots in Chicago.
