Lazard Cahn Papers 1895-1960
Abstract
Personal papers of Lazard Cahn, expert in micromineralogy and crystallography and resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado. The collection consists primarily of correspondence concerning minerals, including letters between Cahn and Charles Palache who named the mineral cahnite after Lazard Cahn. Also included are inventories of Cahn's mineral collections and an article written by Cahn and published in German in 1919.
