Also, press releases, 1940s-1980s; clippings, including clippings of advertisements, 1900s-1970s; press books, 1930s-1950s; concert programs, 1930s-1980s; promotional brochures and newsletters, 1950s-1980s; and miscellaneous reports, financial records, and notes, ca. 1930s-1970s. Also included are biographical files on composers, orchestra members, soloists, conductors (particularly Leonard Bernstein and Pierre Boulez), board members, and others connected with the orchestra containing portrait photographs, resumés, clippings, correspondence and memoranda, press releases, and miscellaneous other documents containing biographical data.
