The vocal scores are in German, printed from Göggl's plates (F.G. 1355) by Cranz, Hamburg, and Spina, Wien. The orchestra parts are manuscript and represent one set. The vocal parts are in three sets. Eighteen parts are manuscript, in English, and carry the title "The boarding school." They represent two complete sets. Eight parts are manuscript in German and English. Eight parts are in German manuscript, and one set consists of 13 miscellaneous German manuscript parts. The chorus parts are in English and German. Seventy-six parts are mimeo, in English. Fourteen miscellaneous parts are in German manuscript. Many of these parts carry signatures of performers. The promptbooks consist of three English books. Two are typed, and one is manuscript in a lined ledger. They carry the annotation on the title page "English adaptation by Alex Henderson" and the title "The boarding school." The German promptbooks consist of one manuscript and one printed book. The printed copy is an annotated libretto dated Berlin, 1864, and contains a list of cast members. The dialogue parts are in English and German. The English parts are typed and represent 5 sets of 15 parts. Four of these sets exist as unbound leaves. The German parts are manuscript. They consist of one set of 13, one of 12, and one of 3 parts, with one miscellaneous part. The accompanying material is a program from a performance of the operetta on February 26, 1916, Hoboken, N.J., by the Deutscher Club, which lists the cast of the performance.
