John Dunlap, official printer, 1st printer of the Declaration of Independence & founder of the Philadelphia City Cavalry's 1st troop writes to General Charles Scott sending "a little Tin case, which contains the life of 'our Washington', the Hero, the Patriot, the Sage of America ... Accept the history of his life, from one who has a perfect recollection of all your gallant services, in our glorious Revolution ..."
